[Solved] Align CoT and CoM
PrimoDev replied to PrimoDev's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
Okay that's great news ! I will try RCS build aid it might help. I'm not using any engines coming from any mod I was not thinking of attitude control but just change a bit my orbit once the sat is deployed and as there are heavy things only on 1 side of the sat, I need to adjust CoT. But no way of setting like instead of big fat indicator of CoT and CoM something very precise like just a little line for CoT and a precise 3D cross for CoM ? -
Hey ! I'm working on a funny realistic satellite (I know it's not really useful in the game but hey, let me design whatever I want) and I just had a problem : I need a little bit of thrust to finish their orbit in case of keo-stationary orbit and so I need to align the Center of Thrust (CoT) and the Center of Mass (CoM) but ksp tool isn't precise enough.. So I was wondering if someone know a way to be more precise like a mod (in 1.3.1 please) or anything that could help me in these situation. By the way, I'm not looking for reaction wheels to compensate as it's supposed to be like in the real life

[Solved] Can't mine landed asteroid on kerbin
PrimoDev replied to PrimoDev's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Yep you guys where right ! the drills were not deep enough I'll just change that with KAS thanks you guys ! You got it ! I've been challenged by friend to do a Kerbin-Duna Duna-Kerbin travel with landings with an asteroid so before I wanted it to reduce mass as it's very heavy and fuel have a cost in career mode Thanks for your help and Merry Christmas ! -
Hello rocketeer ! A few days ago I landed an asteroid and set up 4 rover connected between them and to the asteroid : 1 for electricity, 1 for cooling, one for storing ore & convert it and the last one for my 5 star engineer & the drills. But seems like I can't mine it.. The drills only ask for surface harvester but nothing for asteroid case.. Here's some screenshots for a better understanding of my situation : https://imgur.com/a/5n4ig

Optimizing mining operations with spreadsheets
PrimoDev replied to PrimoDev's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Thanks ! Yes, I also were surprised by these engineer's stats ! But seems legit as upgrading an engineer is actually long and difficult at the beginning. However they help a lot in these situations ! -
Hello everyone ! There is 2 days ago I found this post : And I really enjoyed the concept of optimizing miner's efficiency made by @TokMor but I've been a little disappointed seeing that this has been abandoned.. So I decided to re-build it by updating and adding some more features. Today I present you, the spreadsheet "Mining efficiently" ! Can be open up by Excel, OpenOffice, LibreOffice or anything that can read worksheets. It's free of copyright so you can do whatever you want with. To use it properly, Yellow fields are inputs and Blue fields outputs . I let you enjoy my work and, anyone who have any suggestions is welcome to share his ideas and/or post an update that will be uploaded here ! Hello ! I've been away for this weekend.. Sorry for no answer What do you mean by "the complete version" ? I searched a bit and played around with the mod but seems like I couldn't find any water ports.. I might don't have the complete version ? This guy is doing great job, really !

Hello ! I was wondering if there was a mod that would add something to make spawn my crafts into water like a harbor mod or a vessel mover because I want to do some water crafts for Laythe and Eve so it's hard and long when I have to move them for some tests. I'm in KSP 1.3.1. Edit: I was also wondering how to make my crafts go underwater and come back to surface without wasting fuel ?

[1.6.1] Reentry Particle Effect 1.4 (2019-02-12)
PrimoDev replied to pizzaoverhead's topic in KSP1 Mod Releases
This mod should implement plasma tail for comet in the Kerbol Solar System, and so the plasma tail should be at the opposite direction of the sun as it is in real life ! Otherwise, REALLY good mod to add to the game some reality ! -

Hello ! I made a geostationary orbit in ksp with 3 satellite around kerbin, It was working well until I leave my save and come back on it : The 3 satellites wasn't separated by 120 degree as before but the 1st one was like 20° from the 2nd and the 2nd was 35° away from the 3rd and last one.. I did not changed the gravity in debug panel or anything like that so I don't know why is this happening...
