Coding Help

My biggest question is how do you "use" a computer. If I presume I've compelled my software then how do I put it into a computer inside and get it to execute those commands. -

Coding Help
Cheif Operations Director replied to Cheif Operations Director's topic in Science & Spaceflight
Because I don't have a choice I've already tested what I need too to get to a guided rocket. What I want is a 4 fin and 4 thruster input system. Here is what I want to say Execute:Motor 1-Fin (1.3 seconds) Execute: Motor3-Fin (1.3 Seconds) invert that could be a flight program really simple for the "SAS" I would say if sensor A is triggered Trigger thruster B until Sensor A is no longer past perimeters. This way I could have a (relatively) good flight plan along with control and "SAS" -

Brainlord’s Petition to Change the EULA
Cheif Operations Director replied to Brainlord Mesomorph's topic in KSP1 Discussion
Well said Well said, you forgot "legalese" no offence @Starman4308 that gets really annoying really fast Is anyone against changing the EULA like directly against it? If your just against the speculation and concern why. I'm asking honestly why the opposition against changing the EULA to be less spyware type even cares?- 180 replies

Tucker Carlson-UFOs- Propulsion Systems
Cheif Operations Director replied to Cheif Operations Director's topic in The Lounge
Fair enough. What about a system that used gravity assist, it is traveling at very fast speeds, if high enough... How would that work? wouldn't the spring get stuck in the gears? Oh, hmm that's not a bad idea a piston, if properly powered could fire 1 and 3 pistons and then recharge the kinetic energy. while that is happening piston 2 could fire. Just solar arrays and a nuclear reactor could contain enough electricity to do it. You might be onto something, can anyone prove it wrong. All though I doubt it could get hypersonic speeds if even sonic. -

Couldn't you use compressed nitrogen? or maby just air compressed by helium -

Tucker Carlson-UFOs- Propulsion Systems
Cheif Operations Director replied to Cheif Operations Director's topic in The Lounge
OK I know this violates the 2nd Law of Thermo but is the center top of the craft was tank with highly compressed gas that was released into a plastic rocket engine. Maby then have air ducts going into the central chamber. Do you think this could work? Not long term flight but for maybe a few minutes. -
I want to launch a model rocket with a stability assist system and trajectory system. I want to code it myself but I honestly have no idea what I'm doing. Further I'm terrible at coding in general. Is their any very simple to use code, simpler that kOS, that I can use for this? I would be fine with drag and drop but I cant find anything for robotics that can run multiple programs. Just programs that do a do b do c etc. Any suggestions? Also it would need to run with any simulator that could handle it only because the rocket will take time and money I don't have and I would want the software done before I finalize the design.

THIS IS NOT A CONSPIRACY THEORY Recently on Tucker Carlson they had a former pentagon official discussing reports by navy pilots of fast moving speeds. They were, according to the tape preforming maneuvers that would be complicated with modern technology. Further they had a propulsion system that could not be picked up on infrared. Other than simply expelling a gas out of a tank is their a way that their could be a heatless propulsion system that could be exceed hypersonic speeds. My goal with this thread is to discuss ways we could have a heatless propulsion our self in the future. No I don't believe in aliens I'm not trying to start a UFO debate. Keep this on topic with propulsion systems please! I'm a trifle bit stumped but I suppose I'm thinking with a rocket mind. My ideas could be a gas expulsion system with many small nozzles. these nozzles would be light weight seeing as their is no heat. My second idea is something that might use earths magnetic field but I highly doubt it.

Instead of a firewall could you set up a program that would only detect an outgoing transmission? [snip] -

Ok I have a honest question, I'm hearing this a lot "They will be open to legal challenges" how would they if it said by agreeing we cant be sued in the EULA. I mean you could sue but its like suing the roman republic for atrocities in 26 B.C. is dumb and not going to work. I'm asking honestly. What legal statutes would they be violating? (U.S.) Directed to everyone: Anyone have any actual evidence legally speaking showing how after the EULA they are still open to legal jeopardy. -

it exposes them to no liability. The EULA says they can share it with who they want and that we accept a risk to our data with even if they take it without my direct consent. How do you know what games I play? Besides the point if you were not talking to me my apologies. That being said if you were talking to me my point still stands. I've read many EULAs this is one of the most nosy ones I've ever seen. They want so much info especially for this game. -

[snip] I'm concerned about an A. Hacker breaching a big fat target such as Take Two B. Declining Take Two selling information out of desperation. No I know Take Two is growing but tons of companies do shady things in desperate times even if they are upstanding companies otherwise. I understand why the EULA was written ok? That being said It seems pretty shady and not clear on when they can take it. They say "online services" KSP is single player so... why even change the EULA. I understand right now is on the up and up but a hacker (obviously) isn't and if Take Two should ever get desperate down the line... It's not a conspiracy theory it happens I'm just a concerned Player! [snip] -

I don't trust facebook or amazon or google with anything more that basic information. I don't want to uninstall the game I paid 40 dollars. Nor do I want to delete my forum account I enjoy having it.
