Decided to rework the auroras as one of the things for the upcoming patch for my pack. You can't see it from here, but they are animated a lot better now. Still WIP, probably should turn it down for Duna. Also I've reworked Eve. I figured if the land has to be somewhat visible from orbit for convenience, doesn't mean I can't add more volumetric layers as you come in for landing. -

You're out of mem. Delete some large mod(s) like B9 or other and or try using a texture reduction pack for Squad and B9 parts. No. Not cool, man. Not cool. -

Remove the layers which use the "storm" texture. For Kerbin remove the "duna1" layer which has RimScale set to 0. -

Do Duna/Laythe have clouds? If they do, that means the texture is loaded properly. -

Thank you everyone for your feedback! I really appreciate it! http://i.imgur.com/r70YaVd.png They should be occasional, not constant. Maybe the texture didn't load properly? This could be caused by a lack of memory but I doubt it. Does anyone else have this issue? -

Indeed, I had mostly gameplay in mind. What I can do is change the auroras to be more dependent on each planet's atmosphere/gravity and provide that as an optional config. -

Looking through all the pages, I'm getting the idea that there is much to come! Great work, way to start a KSP revolution, rbray! I'll release my pack tomorrow. I think it's had about enough "improvements" lol. Looking forward to using those new configs.
