  1. That's awesome. I hated navigating all the way back to the other place.
  2. That's pretty unlikely. I'm sure it will be possible with mods, though.
  3. Exact release dates aren't really very realistic in the software engineering world. There's just too much uncertainty. A great deal of what you develop as a software engineer has either never been done before or hasn't been done in the way you're doing it, so it's very difficult to foresee all the problems you might encounter. The further away from release you are, the less accurate any sort of prediction is likely to be.
  4. You guys could test this by putting two kerbals with very high and low stupidity into a pod together and spinning it around like crazy. Stupid kerbals like being dizzy.
  5. Has anyone else noticed that Ike is in geostationary orbit? Considering the figure in the bottom right greatly resembles Duna, and the laser is pointing to an orbital body, wouldn't that be the obvious choice? Methinks I am going to rover around on the surfaces of Ike + Duna in the spots where their respective straight ups point to each other. P:
  6. Anyone else notice that Ike is in geostationary orbit above Duna? My money is that the laser is pointing down from Ike. It will always point to the same spot, so it would be an ideal marker.
  7. Yeah, I like this control method as well. The current controls restrict me to a static 'up' and 'down' which feel really weird when my ship is at some crazy angle. o_o
  8. A poor kerbal that I forced to EVA while in a circular orbit 4.9 km above Minmus 'sea level'.
  9. I use RCS quite a bit on landers to change my horizontal velocity. It is VERY useful for scooting around the surface in a hover, or getting that mun base all nice and feng shui.
  10. The little landers are the BACE pack from silisko, I think? Other than that, I just have the rover/truck mod and MechJeb. He mentioned it on his twitter, which I follow. I\'ve been considering dropping him, though... He never really talks about minecraft anymore since he left the team. I really look forward to seeing what this game becomes as well. I have a lot of hope for it. I\'d really like to see it cling very closely to sandbox gameplay, though. It\'d be nice to see it get something like empire building mechanics and simulate a developing space economy, rather than a linear progression of missions or goals. AI space programs doing the same thing would be neat too. O_o
  11. I have been busy since I bought this lovely game earlier this week! Now on to orbital rendevous <3 I would like to thank the developers for creating it, notch for referring me to it, and everyone else here for being awesome. PS: Driving the rover 20km on the moon because you were careless about aiming because you thought 'Hey, I can just move it later!' is twice as hard as landing it there.
