I feel like I dont know how to fully utilize Janitor's Closet... but I also use 1 or 2 pieces from each mod in my ships, so I kind of figured Janitor's Closet isn't much use for that sort of thing. Like... I may have overlooked being able to just take certain parts away from the mods, but it wasn't really obvious.

Ha! Tell that to my laptop lol it’s definitely due for an upgrade... I have no idea how some of you guys play this game with 7fps... like no... that’s not enjoyable at all! Hahaha I digress! All the same, cheers to all the input!

I looked into this one. While I think it’s be great to have, I went with Stockalike Station Parts. I’m trying desperately to find a balance between keeping a fun game while also not killing my poor 6 year old laptop... so alas, I went with that! Also, thanks to all you guys for responding! I’m always so impressed with how cordial and helpful everyone is on this forum.

Awesome! I knew there were plenty out there from perusing the forums... I just couldn’t for the life of me recall any that works as I thought. I’ll definitely be looking into these.

I remember some time ago where I found a mod with these cool inflatable habitation modules and cannot seem to be resourceful enough to find a mod that works like I thought. I keep finding mods that kinda lump life support with such items... and I'm not too interested in the life support aspect... Can you all point me in the right direction? I'm looking for something that works for 1.4.4. As always, you guys rock and I thank you for your help!

Already got em! I'm super into informational mods. They seem to add more value to the game for me than more items... though you do need something new to keep you going! lol

I'm slowly starting to realize this... I guess what i should have said was that I didn't want to ramp the use of mods so much that I get lost in all the stuff I put in it. But yeah, no harm in throwing some mods in there to keep things interesting!

When I go to open up the tech tree, there are a LOT of nodes that are present but have no items in them... but there are items further up the tech tree in the same line that you seemingly cannot get to unless you unlock a blank node. So 1) Is there a way to circumvent this issue (cuz sometimes I would have to spend quite a bit of my science units for certain nodes) or 2) can you provide a list of the mods those slots were designed for so that I may track them down?

I've done so many web searches and searches on here for different tech tree options. So far, I've only been able to find the Community Tech Tree, and the engineering tech tree... maybe I'm not looking in the right spot or something, but do any of you guys have any tech tree mods that you can link me to? (Cheers, btw. This is my first topic starter... if I'm naive of a better way or better place to ask, by all means let me know.)

Sweet!!! Thanks for the timely response. It's definitely a breath of fresh air getting on a forum with people that are respectful and are SUPER detail-oriented. I'm relatively new to KSP, only been playing for a couple months and I'm blown away about all the outside development this game has seen. But alas, I will probably go give this mod a try! I'm loving using mods, but I also what the keep the game as "virgin" as I can without completely overhauling the main fabric of the game.

Hello... I'm new here... so if this is answered somewhere else, by all means point me in the right direction But my question is, are all the engines in this mod assigned to the stock techtree in career mode? I always really dig having those pieces be somewhat closed off when I first get the mod.

Hi Folks! First post here, so if there is another thread that this is answered in, by all means, I would love the referral My issue is that I realize there is two additional updates to KSP that released last month, and apparently I missed it. I when I try to open the game, it opens this window with a button saying "update" but it's grayed out. Is there a way to get this update? I've emailed Squad a couple days ago and haven't even received a confirmation that they received it. As always, any help will be well received.
