    The contracts typically state a percentage for the scan to meet the contract. I think 75% is standard as I can't recall seeing another value

    Hi, yes  it s usually 75 - 90 % limit to finish contract or receiving full sciences, but as OCD player i just can't stay with a big little 99 % so i spend a little time playing with the brown and blue equatorial markers in the map showing  the distance you cover while the body is revolutionning around himself. Most of time the best for me is to go just under the max altitude and decrease periapsis, wait for a long time and come back later to see if it s complete.

    Nice content.  I like the RABBIT. make me remember about a mod from space simulator ORBITER  TTM24 : To The Moon in 24 Hours.

    Hi. From my experience, if there is too much error in alignement (aim the blue cross), then MJ will stop the warp near 9 minutes before the start of the burn, realign and restart the warp.

    i didnt even need an installer

    all i did was copy the contents of the gamedata folder in the zip over into the ksp gamedata file

    There is not issue with installers cause there is only one : CKAN, so maybe the main issue is downloading some zip from anywhere but the good place.

    The major advantage of CKAN is that when you want to install a mod it download all the needed dependencies. And so no issue when installing files in game data directories as i made a lot of mistakes back in past. Even installing mod in the wrong ksp version.

    Hi, not sure about what you explain. But if you re talking about some locked features at the beginning of a carreer mode then you can unlock them by adding an empty folder in your gamedata and name it exactly "MechJebUnlocked".

    If I install the bleeding edge from October manually and use CKAN to load the rest of the updated mods and launch the game is everything going to be recognized as expected? Sorry, if this is an obvious question it is just something I haven't done before. :)

     i ve done it. just ignore CKAN update about constellation or mks bleeding edge after the manual install

But, based on the little I see in the logs, it looks like it may be KSPIE.  Note that I never stated this to be a KAS (or KIS) issue.  I should also add that the logs show KIS disabled due to construction mode.  Here is the KSP.log from when I go EVA to pausing the game after attaching the solar panel.  But just not much there to go on.

    I thougt it was KAS that did the attaching (prior to say KSP 1.11) and that KIS was just items and inventory.  Looking at the descriptions further, I see KAS is more the teathering system and the actually item attachment is KIS.

     

    Yeah, that sounds related.  So where do we go for this discussion (if anywhere)?

    Just don't know :) also i don't use KSPIE. So it difficult for me to "incriminate" one mod.
