Hey just replying to share the info I've gathered about continuing drill issues (on KSP 1.7.2). I was having the issue with stock+buffalo drills not attaching in VAB and bugging it out; I saw you patched that so I updated to the latest, and this fixed the issue in VAB but I still couldn't launch those vehicles (it just returned me to space center). After further investigation I was able to fix the stock drills by deleting the MM_Drills.cfg file in ModuleManagerPatches, then deleting the lines under "//Stock drill patches" at the bottom. Of course I assume this removes capability to interact with gold strike nodes (which I honestly don't understand yet and haven't tried to find in any way so I'm not too concerned). The buffalo drills that have the gold strike capability still bug out any vessel that I attempt to launch. I'm currently trying to edit the buffalo drill cuz I love it's form factor and wanna use it.
I'm just sharing this info in case someone else has any trouble. I'm using a number of mods such as Tac-LS, KIS, KAS, Tweakscale, Astronomers, Interstellar, DMagic, EL, Dangit, Near-Futures, SCANsat, RemoteTech, RealChute, Tarsier, PlanetaryBaseSomething, TextureReplacer, DistantObject, EVE, SuicidalInsanity's Stockalikes, Kerbal Atomics, number of other graphical mods, and some others I'm too lazy to list all.
