  1. The Neutrino class short range transport is the latest model from Shrike Spacecraft Limited™, with a large cargo bay and rugged construction it is ideal for trans-munar hauling. Purchase one today from your local Shrike™ dealer for only 970,000 Funds! (plus tax) Specs: - Delta V: 3300 m/s - Engines: 1x Post-Kerbin Mining Corp, ZU6 JR-20A 'Ouroboros', 2x Kerbal Automatics Design Bureau CHR-12-2 'Vesuvius' - Cargo bay capacity: ~82 m3 , payloads can be up to ~3m in diameter. - Crew: 2 (Pilot + Engineer) - Mass: 51.7 tons - Parts: 222 More pics: Design notes: I saw the new capricoruns command pod from tantares and immediately knew I had to do something with it, the pod has a kind of bulbous look so I kept balls and rounded bits as a major design element throughout the build, in the end I'm really happy with how the aesthetics of thing turned out, I'm a big fan of things that look practical and functional and I think I pulled off that look pretty well here. There are a couple issues with the design, preventing it from being practical. First of all, I massively underestimated how much power cooling the liquid hydrogen tanks would take so this thing only works with infinite electricity. The center of mass moves up down as the fuel is used, causing a bunch of torque from the main engine. The main engine is also massively overkill, with a twr of 2.8 on kerbin. The landing engines have barely any fuel (45 m/s), so you've got to use the main engine for most of takeoff and landing. The front doors are really floppy, on account of being pretty heavy and held on with the smallest hinges so they move around a lot in flight. The front doors were a bit of a challenge, the cargo bay is a funny shape and round it off in a way that looks good was going to be hard, fortunately the wrapper radiators from sterling systems were just the right shape to mostly fill the front up. This has the side effect of making the front doors glow, which is kinda cool. Mods: - Tantares + TantaresSP - Far Future Technologies - Sterling Systems - Near Future Launch Vehicles / Electrical / Exploration - Cryo Engines - Heat Control - Commnet Antennas Extension - Textures Unlimited - TURD (stock + dlc) - Recolour collection (tantares + near future)
  2. As in the tantares recolour or restock PBR? Restock PBR probably will but the tantares recolour does not. Its part of TURD.
  3. Nope, i'm working on updating the tantares recolour right now. In other news, something very interesting has appeared:
  4. There's a tutorial i made linked at the bottom of the OP here: There's also stuff on the TU wiki: https://github.com/shadowmage45/TexturesUnlimited/wiki/Feature---Recoloring
  5. This sounds like an install issue. it should be installed like: GameData\TURD\TU_BD_Recolour.
  6. It is, in the metallic gloss map, make the windows a dark-ish grey for a nice shine.
  7. I'm pretty sure this is caused by restock, it's something I also encountered when I used restock along with TURD, unfortunately I don't remember exactly how (or even if) I fixed it.
  8. @SqueakyIf you've been having trouble figuring out recolours on your own the pair of tutorials I made may be helpful (assuming you haven't looked at them already), a good place to start would be looking at existing recolours and copying what they do. Another hot tip: chatGPT will not give useful answers for this kind of thing, there just Isn't enough information out there about this stuff for it to pull from, I haven't personally asked it about KSP configs but I would assume its answers are mostly unhelpful.
  9. Most of them are called Recolor Collection - "something" but the Near Future Aero and Launch Vehicles ones are for whatever reason called TU NearFuruteAero and TU NearFutureLaunchVehicles respectively.
  10. This is great, one minor correction though, all of my recolours except the Tantares one are available on CKAN. I also made my own list of recolours I know of (at the bottom of the Recolour Collection OP). There's a few extra ones in there you may want to add (mostly from random posts throughout the TURD thread).
  11. Well, in that case here's the release for everything that I've done so far: Tantares recolour I won't do any more on this till after tantares updates (the only thing actually left to do is the soar panels). pics: Yeah lol. (something something Ride Eternal Shiny And Chrome!)
  12. Not as far as I know. There's a list of all the recolours I know of at the bottom of the OP.
  13. The Near Future Aeronautics and Near Future Launch Vehicles recolours are now available on CKAN.
  14. This is what i do, take a look at the TU wiki for why / what this does. Take the original texture, flip it and make it opaque, make it greyscale, fiddle with brightness / contrast, use the "CMY ghost" (from here) filter with everything turned all the way down, mess around with the luminosity / alpha curves, this makes the whole thing shiny metal, some bits shouldn't be (like windows) so they get edited out by making them dark and opaque.
