When I control from docking the yaw axix works fine but the pitch doesnt

I know the flaps are for reentery but they don't move at all :/ I mean they do move but only a tiny bit

Why does the flaps on starship only move ever so slightly? is there a fix for that? and also for some reason starship turns black once I exit the VAB (in VAB its silver like it is supposed to be )
