How do i store carbon? I can't seem to find a way... I'm using realfuels, and i just want to make kerosene to refuel my SSTO Edit: nevermind, i just forgot to install something. Edit 2: wait i just realized it's incompatible with realfuels according to CKAN, but realfuels doesn't add options to the ore tanks

Ok, so I saw this wiki article, and it got me thinking: I should try to make my own planet pack! Then, a few hours later, I gave up, because it was way too difficult for me to figure out all the syntax and stuff, and I was having so many issues, and in the end, I was left with a glossy ball with the texture directly mapped onto it. So yeah. But, this also got me thinking: would it be possible to make a user-friendly editor to, at the very least, edit planets? I have very little modding experience, so I'm not sure if this is possible, but if it is, that is my suggestion for a mod. It doesn't necessarily have to be in game, but I just want it to be user friendly. Maybe something like SimpleRockets2's Planet Studio could work! I, and I'm sure at least a few others, would greatly appreciate such a mod.

AMAZING mod! The models and textures are so detailed, and it looks so good! One question: are there any future plans for SOCK, Such as things like Buran or FAMK Pathfinder parts? I've seen plenty of Buran mods, but I've yet to see a Pathfinder shuttle parts mod. Maybe it could be a separate mod, I'm not sure. But I'd love to see it in KSP.

Rocket won't stage even when staging unlocked
isdi0 replied to isdi0's topic in KSP1 Technical Support (PC, modded installs)
OK, so I think I might or might not have tracked it down to one error: [ERR 12:22:05.812] [AssemblyLoader] Exception when getting assembly attributes: Exception of type 'System.Reflection.ReflectionTypeLoadException' was thrown. Additional information about this exception: System.TypeLoadException: Could not load type of field 'MuMech.MathJ.Utils:DoublePool' (1) due to: Could not load file or assembly 'System.Buffers, Version=4.0.3.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=cc7b13ffcd2ddd51' or one of its dependencies. assembly:System.Buffers, Version=4.0.3.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=cc7b13ffcd2ddd51 type:<unknown type> member:(null) signature:<none> Before that, there's also this error: [ERR 12:22:05.521] [ERROR] [Part benjee10.shuttle.forwardFuselage] [ModuleB9PartSwitch 'name'] Cannot reassign cube weights: had 6 cubes before but now have 12 Does anyone know what either of these mean? -
Hi, I've been trying to make a KSP Cinematic, and I built a space shuttle for this purpose, and for some reason, in the editor the stages are all fine, but when I go to launch it, the staging all combines into one single stage. Additionally, the stage light is off, but I still can't stage, even after fixing the staging. My mod list is here, I have no idea what's causing the problem, but I really don't want to uninstall and reinstall every mod one by one to find the problem, as it would take ages to do so. In addition, I have a _patches folder with one single patch, aptly named engine_startup.cfg, it's a very simple script which makes engines have a realistic warmup process. Also, I have a couple of manually installed mods, the only ones I used on this craft are reDIRECT and SOCK, along with SOCKrecolored and SOCKrepainted. I'm pretty sure it's a problem with the craft, as other craft work perfectly fine, I launched a small test rocket, it worked fine. KSP.log file Edit: So I figured out the source of the problem, it's Modular Launch Pads. I have no idea how MLP is causing this problem, but it is.

I think it is lol

I run KSP at the very weird resolution of 1920x1200 The slowest framerate I get is about 15-20 fps, but that's on quite rare occasions, normally it's more around 30-60 fps.

I was thinking of possibly installing Parallax, although I think my PC will hate me for it. I currently have 141 mods installed, 24 of which are visual mods. My PC's specs are: Ryzen 3 3200G no dedicated GPU 16GB DDR4-3200 2x8 RAM Crappy Motherboard Stock Cooler And I run all this on Windows 10. So what do you think, will my PC run it?

ah I see, thanks for clarifying.

First of all, I will most likely hop on a creative/sandbox/whatever singleplayer save, and just admire the parts. After that, eventually I will likely build a colony ship, send it to the mun, and from then on use it as the only place I launch from, and then I will colonize the entire solar (kerbolar?) system, eventually then building an interstellar ship and exploring other systems until either A) all systems are explored, or B) I get bored. I then will proceed to play multiplayer and see where things go from there.

Ok 2 things. 1. Could my name be changed to isdi0? It's my name for everything else, so it's only natural. 2. Why can't we change our own names? It would make everyone's lives so much easier.

KSP2 shouldn’t need Sandbox (or maybe it should?)
isdi0 replied to Pthigrivi's topic in Prelaunch KSP2 Discussion
I quite strongly agree with this statement, as with the extra steps, it also allows for more customization. It might not work to use cheat codes, instead, they could do something like Cities: Skylines, where you can toggle each feature on and off. For example, being able to unlock all tech but still have to worry about funds, reputation, etc. would be really fun and interesting in my opinion, and it's not in KSP 1. -
