I am new in the modding and part-creation world for KSP and i have understood basically everything except for one thing: how to calculate the volume of a tank/srb.
I started doing mods in KSP with RSS/RO, which obviously includes real fuels.
I tried calculating the volume of the part mathematically, basically just doing area of the base times height, then transform the cubic meters into liters, but that seems to always give me far too much. I also looked a bit in the configs and apparently real fules calculates volumes in kiloliters so my calculations should be correct, but i suppose it also has to do with the fuels i use and the ratio, and i just get lost since i can’t find a value of density for kerosene or lox or hydrogen in the game.
So, i am asking for help from people that are better than me on how to calculate the volume of the tank and get the ammout of fuel i put in correct
