Hi, Marcus house had made a kos code for falcon heavy which only works with ksp 1.3 and lower. So i have modified his script and made it compatible with Ksp 1.8.1 and higher . So i will now continue to to update his script . Script is finally complete ,here it is : https://github.com/daiwik-ksp/Falcon-Heavy-Dual-booster-landing- More pic on : https://imgur.com/a/0vaAUyH

The goal of this series/project is to develop a KOS script that can fly a falcon heavy like rocket or a single booster rocket and return all boosters and the first stage to the KSC autonomously. Progress will be posted over time. I will post single 'flights' on YouTube and in responses to this post. Each 'flight' will include an iteration on the source code adding or improving a single feature. The source code is available on Github. There now is a followup project: Questions/comments/improvements are greatly appreciated. Mission Log: Flight #1 - Simple Hop Flight #2 - Liftingbody flight path adjustment Flight #3 - High altitude path reversal boostback Flight #4 - Heavy demonstrator with boosters Launch #1 - Foo-Sat to LKO - A COMPLETE MISSION!!! Does anyone know where I can find the exact dimensions of Falcon 9's Fairing, Stage2, interstage, Stage1, and dragon? I'm trying to build a perfect replica in RO

https://imgur.com/a/reLy1 Hi there! After a ton of work (5 months) because I didn't wanna look up a tutorial, I was able to powered land a Reusable Rocket, known as Ender Full Thrust (Ill upload the craft file, however it uses a lot of mods, so it might not work for you, MRS and Kerbal Reusability Expansion should be it, but I might have some other mods in it to.) So here is the mission report I lifted of from KSC, and because the thing sometimes tips in water, I headed to polar orbit. I deployed the satellite at around 40 KM, and flew it into orbit. I then had to switch back to the rocket, as it entered the atmosphere. I fired up 1 of the 5 engines, and slowed down. I only used 1 as it was honestly just more efficient. I ended up deploying the gear at around 5km, as the extra drag kept the thing from tipping over. I fired up all the engines, slowed down, and just about managed to land it. I probably hit ground at around 3-5 m/s, so I was lucky that the landing gear had some good suspension. I actually nearly tipped the thing, however the RCS fought back, and it ended up stable. And that's the mission report of the first ever successful flight of Ender Full Thrust.

Hello everyone! Recently I've been messing around with HalfRSS mod (best decision ever!) and, of course, tried to recreate Flacon 9, both 1st and 2nd stage.I've found this sheethttps://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1X9FUdHnowboCrjoWKpTM5OtLEqj26UWhF0UbEnON5_Q/edit?f=true&noheader=true&gid=18#gid=27 With pretty reasonable info about falcons parameters. I've scaled them down to be suitable, for HRSS, taking total delta-V as my base. Parameter | Falcon 9 | HRSS | Mine Total dV | 9380 | ~7200 | 7038 1st st dV | 3076 | ~2371 | 2369 2nd st dV | 6388 | ~4925 | 4669 With all this, i struggle to reach orbit. it seems that my 2nd stage has not nearly enough TWR to push craft to orbit. separation occurs somewhere between 40 - 50 km high (AP at 95-100km), and 2nd sdtage starts its burn right away. sadly no matter what pitch I set, 2nd stage doesn't even burn through half of its dV, until it falls back to atmosphere. What might be the reason for this? Is Falcon9 data I based inaccurate? or its HRRS fault (longer to reach AP in RSS than in HRSS?), or maybe my gravity turn is made badly? Cheers

Not the practical mission but the artistic one. It does work but this video just shows it off and has the boosters landing close together. In reality they don't. I used smurf and upgraded vector engines to SSME details.

This is my first post, and with the upcoming December Falcon Heavy launch, I decided to share the SpaceX Falcon Heavy replica I made. I couldn't get an image here, but here's the download: Falcon Heavy Download A few mods are required for it to work though: -Kerbal Reusability -Kerbal Engineer Redux -FMRS If anyone else wants to take a screenshot and upload it, that would be appreciated. Thanks!
