So I was trying to secure a space station module with struts, so I went on EVA, and the Kerbal is stuck facing one direction. What should I do? Note: I have tried changing the camera modes, it didn't work

That is kind of concerning. In KSP today I landed a base on Minimis, with a science lab. I had a few Hiccups on getting it there, such as a gravity assist from the moon, and me time warping too fast without a good quicksave, (I teleported it because I didn't want to launch again) but I landed it successfully. I also forgot to install batteries, I will put them on tomorrow. Nice View of the Flag from the science bay window.

If you set the gravity to 0.01 present, and teleport a Kerbal to -67 meters on Jool, they flip upside down. And you also need the parachute deployed.

In KSP today I Rescued Val, Bob, and Bill from Minimis. Yesterday, I rescued Jeb from the Mun which he had been stranded there for 7 years
