  1. I said per example, it could be a solar flare, asteroid impact etc yeah I watch the kraken king you're right lol
  2. I guess but we still found a way to make bd armoury in ksp1, people are probably gonna make war dedicated servers, provided the devs make server making a possibility
  3. yeah I hope we can control our own servers, id'd be fun
  4. might as well aim for the moon, at least we'll end up in the stars most of the fighting will be done on the moon and duna I think, duna for it's atmosphere, so planes, shuttle "resource dropping" by parachute and the moon for low gravity and resources.
  5. yeah makes sense, I hope the community can run servers themselves per example a 1000 person server, I'd be expensive to run but possible yup
  6. kernels should have bigger suits to facilitate with climbing hard biomes per example tuna's frosty ice caps or eve's crushing pressures!
  7. pretty sure it's impossible in multiplayer not to have some sort of trolling or war, Minecraft theoretically has pretty much infinite resources, yet people still fight over sticks and stones
  8. haha absolutely, people are talking about peace and honesty etc but tbh I think even with small player bases there are gonna be wars too, humans like to war, wer're violent creatures to the core
  9. like for resource needs establishing trade routes, travelling with friends etc, it'd be cool if factions could have subsets and a main goal to thrive to, eve online scale markets could develop
  10. per example, a ship accidentally jumps into a wormhole and the whole server accelerates unexpectedly etc, those events would be randomly generated and not exploited by players.
  11. please, there have been several mods trying to replicate this idea but none of them seem to have the charm of the original kerbal parafoil, it'd be amazing to jump down from space and just wander
  12. per example, imagine trade routes in multiplayer, building new permanent structures to facilitate shorter thus more efficient routes like a train, rocket base or airport etc, even in single player it would be even easier. players could exchange on a marketplace and get resources delivered by automated ships, others could fight for territory with space jets or space bombardment system, that way we could have actual wills in servers, it'd be amazing if said servers could rotate each 6 months to break up monopolies and create new things etc
  13. hopefully there can be belter colonies made by players where you can fix a ship for some money, with some level of automation of course kinda like a space based economy!
  14. per example if there are popular factions would they try to deny others Important resources on a planet or even straight up intercept and kill them? I was watching for all mankind and It reminded me that maybe the servers shouldn't have rules about resource blocking warfare etc, because that's what makes us human but doesn't going to space with infinite resources create no point in pursuing war and could we loose what makes us humans itself. so I think the mods of servers, their rules and the devellopement team should avoid creating too harsh rules but also have a say in what is going on, eg bullying and harassment of small groups of players.
  15. great idea! but I'm pretty sure you can already do that in the original game with stuck wheels maybe even add a rocket engine here's a stock train :
  16. just like real satellites on an orbit using reaction wheels to stay on target, it'd be pretty cool to have a communication network mechanic where you can change spacecraft antenna positions to improve networking on a certain planet, per example if a relay is down it could either incapacitate the whole network or slow it down. If there's not enough time a remote satellite control and more advanced communication mechanics would be cool!
