    See, this is a high school class that has no prior required classes; from observations of my classmates, it appears a fair number of them just saw a drone related course as available and choose it and have no motivation to actually do any work. However, there also is definitely a decent number of students who do in fact have motivation yet still failed. Also, it's worth noting this is the first year the course was offered, and thus the instructor (who previously taught other S.T.E.M. classes) had little experience in teaching this type of class.
