  1. The size of moons? no. but maybe large scale rotating stations/"habitats"
  2. watch kurzgesagt's video on the topic for an explanation
  3. ok so what i mean by "enviromental diversity" is essentially canyons, mountains, valleys, the whole nine yards but make them flow naturally through the landscape and it would be cool if you could i dentify a planet/moon by its landmarks or enviromental hazards speaking of enviromental hazards it would be cool if on planets like rask and rusk or charr there could be lava flows or volcanoes so you have to think about where you put colonies or if they add weather tornadoes, storms, or even hurricanes for planets/gas giants
  4. Im gonna say this in the nicest way possible, that is a terrible idea, atleast for the vanilla game. If you want combat in a game like this wait for a bd armory equivalent to come out.
  5. your probably right considering i dindnt think this one through
  6. tbh i just randomly got the idea for solar flares, and maybe even a radiation system where if a solar flare hits your ship or a colony thats on a planet/moon it could knock out some equipment. Or maybe if your around an unstable star?
  7. im gonna keep this short and simple Ive been thinking that what if for colonies on low gravity bodies you could use a mass accelorator like system to get stuff into orbit, and it could work like runways where its a modular design and the more "mass accelorator track" you have the better your chances for getting into orbit/faster you go to get into high/low orbits. Ive also been thinking what if for planets/gas giants with dense atmospheres you could have floating colonies/airships, in fact if you have one in a gasgiant this could be how you get mettalic hydrogen and it would make launches to orbit easy if its on a planet like eve. thank you for coming to my ted talk
  8. What if for interstellar travel you could have a part that could freeze kerbals.
