  1. But wait AmericanRocketryRambler, RSS starts in 1951, not 1946! Look again. It says 1946-01-01. You are not going crazy. As well as this, the controls do not unlock until 1951, so no plane contracts allowed in settings, as well as no downrange trys until 1951. We now begin, starting off with building a small Wac-Corporal from the USAF. Now, we fly the WAC-Corporal, on the 23rd of July, 1946. It soars through the sky, gathering data and transmitting it. Camera results show the first picture taken past 50km, a blurry, black and white, pixelated photo, transmitted over the antenna. Finally, the rocket returns to the ground at supersonic speeds, destroying it, as well as finishing the contract. The launch totals us 2.9 science, as well as giving us 42k funds in total. We now begin research on post-war rocketry testing, as well as materials science. Now, our goal is to pass the Karman line, which we missed by 9km last time. To do this, we develop the Aerobee XASR-1, with a bigger fuel tank, and better sustainer. This, however, will require us to finish our research, so we also accept a Sounding Rockets (Low) contract, which requires us to reach 40 km. Very easy, seeing as we reached 91km our first launch. Now, it is November 25, and we have the WAC Corporal 2 brought out to the launch pad. The WAC 2 Easily breaks 40km, and soars up as high as the first launch did. It falls back to earth bringing us back over 2.7 science! We use the science for early SRB's and guidance systems. Now, after 8 days, we begin development on the Aerobee XASR-1 However, its launch, and all of the launches following it, are for other years, outside of 1946. END OF YEAR STATS: Space Program Tech Tree Stats: Science - 0.7 Funds - 12,407
  2. (This is a sequel to my very unfinished America: 1951, which I lost motivation to do after only 2 years ingame) Prologue: Germany fell. Joint allied and Comintern occupation of Germany. Von Braun and his men were lucky. Why? They got to US forces as opposed to soviet forces. After a year or so, Von Braun was ready to become a rocket scientist again. The twist? He was now an American rocket scientist. The year is now 1946, January first. Now, it is in their hands. Will the soviets win the space race or will the Americans? The worlds fate was in their hands. And thus begins the tale. The tale of America: 1946.
  3. I know how to upgrade, but the only thing the upgrade menu talks about is tonnage limits, and I wasn’t sure if it upgraded the rest too.
  4. also, does the launch pad upgrade let your rocket be bigger? My orbital rocket is 35.3 meters and the cap is 33.
  5. Looking through technologies and there is a typo for the Skylab Orbital Workshop description, it says peole, but should say people.
  6. (I am playing a up to date install with both dlcs.) When I go into the VAB I can place a few parts then the game goes broken. The first time I can place down 2 parts, then I select a third part but the snap joints disappear without a trace, so i press down again to drop the part, and then I cant interact with it in any way. I get another part to see if that was just a 1 time glitch, but it turns out no, so I try to throw it away, but it hovers over the first dropped parts and it duplicates again and again, totally breaking all functionality. I cant launch or save or exit, the only thing I can do is make more parts that will inevitably duplicate, so I use alt + F4, and I re-install KSP. The next time it seems to be going ok, until I begin to build the second stage. It then instantly glitches again ( except for the hover duplication glitch) and so I alt + F4 again. What should I do to fix it, if it can be fixed? (IDK how to upload photos so if you who sees this knows how, please do tell)
  7. granted. but they are so ugly your brain melts and your eyes fall out of your head I wish for honest to goodness oxygen, no poison, nothing wrong with it.
  8. bad news, due to my bad computer i dont know what happened but it is worse than before my game crashes reguarly, so i have sadly stopped doing a mission report
  9. lol thats the sheet i used 3733
  10. 3719 is it fine if we use a chart for primes?
