I feel like it should be a researchable option that goes something like this: untethered EVA —> tethered EVA —> long tethered EVA. I feel like it should be like this because it seems like tethers are a kind of ‘cheat’ for EVAs and it takes too much away from the original spirit of the game. This system would only work if the tether was optional in the VAB or you could enable it before EVA.

I personally think they should add KER and Chatterer because KER makes getting to orbit a whole lot easier because of the readouts, and chatterer just adds that feel that you're “controlling” living things. (no one can ever control Jeb though)

I think it would be cool to have a black hole far out from the solar systems that has a small asteroid orbiting it just outside the point where you end up getting pulled by the black hole. It would be really challenging to land on the asteroid, so it could become an awesome endgame destination.
