I started looking into planet modding and playing around with Kopernicus and-- what the hell am I looking at? I sent Val to this... thing... with the cheat menu. In the spoiler is everything I saw there.

I built a flying car. It drives OK, doesn't fly that well. It can't take off on its own with the rover wheels so I have to use the slope between the runway and the ground (this is what i'm referring to) \ How do you land this thing? Parachutes. I don't want to bother with landing this thing on its wheels. How do you land after the parachutes are used? You don't

They don't have thumbnails on the home page. But on the craft's page the pictures still show up. (at least for me they do) Anything uploaded after around a day ago has no thumbnail on the home page. No problems when viewing the craft itself on kerbalx. -

I went to Ike. 1481 science gained. After this mission, Mission Control served up a contract to dock two vessels around Ike and return to Kerbin >:(

I visited a dead science probe on Minmus. I recovered the remaining science it had and brought it back to Kerbin. All of its solar panels broke due to it hitting the ground a little too hard. One of the 4 engines on the probe was also completely destroyed. It attempted to transmit the remaining science data that it gathered. It failed and ran out of power in the middle of one of the transmissions. I just so happened to have a contract to get science from Minmus surface. I think this is one of my only successful precise landings that got within 5km of a craft.

If you transmit science to KSC with Chatterer installed ,a random SSTV signal will play from the folder "Chatterer/Sounds/sstv" in GameData. They are in B/W 12 format. You can decode them yourself with a program like QSSTV (which works with Linux.) QSSTV will also let you encode your own SSTV signals, which you can put in that folder. (Audio must be in OGG format I think)

I don't think that.. I have a headcanon that's been bouncing around my head for the last month. The "last name" Kerman is useless, the last one or two syllables in the "first name" make up the actual last name. for example, "Linbas", "Thompely". There are exceptions, some Kerbals have names that do not respect this guideline (any name that is not randomly generated....) How could you be so sure? They're aliens... BUT they do look very similar (understatement). Maybe it's just cloning. incest doesn't work like that

My main problem with rendezvous was knowing when to launch. The rest I could do almost completely fine. After reading through this guide a bit, I found a section "Tools for Optimizing Efficiency" that showed the two +orbit and -orbit buttons. That cracked it open for me and I stopped caring about launch windows for rendezvous. Of course in real life it's not entirely practical to sit an entire day in orbit because you were launched into space at the wrong time, but it's KSP and Kerbals live forever, who cares?

I went to Duna and Ike. No landings attempted. I might try planting a flag on Ike later. Döner rocket. Mammoth core stage, with 2 Skipper-powered liquid fuel boosters. Can carry 5 kerbals to orbit around Duna and Ike, and back to Kerbin. Bob does EVA science in Ike orbit. Bob "accidentally" throws the part from a dismantled propeller hat stolen from a child EVA Science Instrument® at one of the Gigantor solar panels on the Döner and destroys it. When he finishes his work and enters the capsule he gets beat up by the rest of the crew. Mission Control audio suggests that he was repeatedly shouting 'It's just a prank' during the altercation. The crew back home safe. From left to right: Jeb, Bill, Bob, Val, Bilsy. All of them leveled up from level 2 to 4. Over 2400 science recovered. They had to endure several aerobraking passes (not sure if they were even necessary but I wanted to do it anyway.) The heat shield was sucked dry of its ablator while the Döner re-entered Kerbin's atmosphere for the final time. During the mission I entered Duna and Ike orbit. I dipped the spacecraft into Duna's atmosphere (only about 49000 above sea level). I might try getting a probe on Duna after this, then I'll get a Kerbal on Ike. Not sure which one I'll pick. Kengel was first to step on Minmus, Val was first to step on the Mün, Jeb was first in orbit I think. While I was building this rocket a nasty bug happened. I guess my craft file was broken or something? Or just regular kraken encounter. It got weirder after I reverted to VAB. Everything started acting weird, I can't describe all of it with words so here's a screenshot. When I tried to deattach a part, it worked, but I couldn't attach it. The attachment node thing just vanished. When I tried to attach it radially, it didn't work. I had to restart KSP and build a new rocket. I wish I still had the craft file... but I overwrote it when trying to build the new one.

What is the most HORRIBLE way one of your kerbals died

I think it was when a capsule was going to land after re-entering, I turned on the 4x time warp and pressed one of the roll keys (Q,E). It spun for a split second before all the parts flew off and got destroyed. Imagine that. Time just goes 4x times faster and then you die immediately after that. I wonder what KSC thought of that. -
