I'm pretty sure the stock skybox is embedded somewhere inside the game's resource files (inside KSP_Data, not GameData.) It's not as easy as replacing a PNG/DDS file somewhere and having a new skybox on stock.. It could still be possible but I think that is legally questionable. Download a skybox mod instead, and replace the skybox bundled with it with pitch black images. It's a lot easier and doesn't potentially break the EULA. -

I landed on one wheel. I lost both of the rear landing gear on the SSTO during ascent Do note these pictures were taken while the plane was still moving at about 20m/s. It's not as hard as it looks, I think it's a bit like landing a seaplane.

This is the very first aircraft I made. It is upside down in this picture. It was taken a few hours after I installed KSP (5PM, feb 5 2022). It was powered by 3 panther engines, it had 0 intakes and 0 fuel, the fuselage was a monopropellant tank. I had to use the cheat menu to get it to fly. I didn't know how to land yet so I just put parachutes on it.

Whoever has the most hours in space is the leader. No elections or any of that political fluff that humans have. So Jeb is always president! But seriously... Administrative capital is the KSC. It's led by the most experienced (most hours in space) kerbonauts cherry-picked from the astronaut complex. I guess you could label it as a technocracy. Its flag looks like the game's logo. The name? 'Kerbal State' is just fine. I don't really care much about the name. It does have several successful colonies across the Kerbol system. Population hot spots, Kerbin (obviously) and certain islands on Laythe. Population on Kerbin, 12 billion. on Laythe there's a few hundred million.

There's lots of snow today. It snowed from last night to about 1PM I think.

Rocket Sound Enhancement's default config pack has propeller noises. It also replaces a lot of the stock sounds with its own sound effects.
