Well, when the plane pitches forward, You have too much weight at the front of your plane. Try moving the wings back a little more. For you VTOLs, try tilting your engines slightly forward in the space plane hanger. Hope this helps!

When I started out, all my orbits were polar. It was only later that I discovered that it was easier to go the other way.

Try adding more struts and see if that helps. Or use less thrust during your ascent.

I usually see how big an orbit a rocket can make without running out of fuel instead of doing a reentry burn.

I usually place winglets on the first or second stage, as the are of no use outside the lower atmosphere.

You know you only need 1 adv. sas module for your entire craft. The other 2 are dead weight. Also, consider adding winglets for better control.

I only use mechjeb for putting satellites in precise orbits or orbital rendevous. I think it is a great convience.
