2. Otherworldly Connection (still on 0.1.0.0) I can't help myself, I did another one. This time definitely relying on my ability to ignore the UI and just 'eyeball it.' Mission documentation:

I downloaded the F/A-18E Super Hornet because it looked cool (and because of Top Gun). You were absolutely right to call it "nimble," it's quickly becoming one of my favorite planes to fly in KSP2!

Wanted to mess with some of the lower stage XL parts and get a big rocket into orbit just for fun. Conveniently had way too much fuel and thrust, so I decided to keep going and turn it into an impromptu Minmus mission!

Challenge complete! I got on top of the VAB with a bare-bones VTOL (complete with emergency thrusters and parachutes, because I'm a bad pilot). For the satellite dish, I managed to survive crashing a modified Eurofighter Typhoon (made by @CometAurora).

This is as close as I have the patience (and fuel) for. 601 km periapsis (any lower and it explodes) and 119,669 km apoapsis. Literally could not have done this without the new time warp mechanics, ion engines are actually fun for once!

I'm excited to make planes with the new procedurally generated wings!
