  1. Well remember that there's more then just Steam, they released it on Epic Games Store and their own site if I recall.
  2. Something to add is that I believe a lot of the Youtubers that attended the big pre release event demo a while back also mentioned that there were indeed some bugs. Off the top of my head I think Scott Manley and Matt Lowne both mentioned there being plenty of bugs present if not at the demo it's self then certainly in their videos or live streams covering the games release on day 1+ So I doubt that the devs are trying to sweep anything under the rug as if that was the case why let various press get hands on with the game as is for a few hours weeks before release?
  3. Yeah, Indie titles are called indie because they do not have a publisher behind them. (Thus the term independent) I think people sometimes generalize the term with any studio that isn't cranking out block buster titles like Call of Duty or Halo or any other big triple A title you want to throw around. Edit: Something else to add is that these terms are all very relative and nebulous at best. A big name publisher can crank out small titles that would be on the scale of an indie and some indie games get picked up by publishers and become major titles.
  4. To throw in my two cents. I think that weather or not "fan patience" or what have you is/was deserved will only be answered by if the game is able to achieve all it's stated goals by 1.0 launch and not, as many have worried about, go under and fold for whatever reason. In my opinion the game will only be a failure if it never leaves EA and gets shut down prematurely or releases to 1.0 without all of the features stated in their roadmap. Right now the game is still being actively developed so unless something drastic changes in the coming weeks months or even years. I think it should work out.
  5. Just something to note. Earlier in the thread someone was asking if there was something between triple A and indie and I think the term you're looking for is double A which probably fits KSP2 best, it's not a indie title due to it having a publisher backing it and a fairly sizable team but it's not anywhere near triple A levels (which to my limited knowledge have hundreds if not thousands of people from possibly more then one studio working on a game)
  6. As a refugee from said steam forums. It's bad out there guys, real bad. We got people over there who don't even own the game (so far as I can tell) just making stuff up, we got those same people creating copy pasted threads to keep their stuff bumped to the top and we have legit 11-12 page 150+ post long threads arguing over things we have little control over. Edit: Oh and that's not to mention the people who are just stirring things up to farm points.
  7. Yeah sorry about the repeat, I realized where I was supposed to post within a minute of me doing the repost but I could not figure out how to delete the thread haha. Oops.
  8. (Trying this again with a better thread title in the hopes the moderators won't move it to KSP 1 by mistake) Hi all, new here. So has anyone else run into problems getting their spaceplanes to work in KSP 2? I keep running into problems where without reason my plane will veer hard to the left or right uncontrollably once it reaches around 100m/s regardless of what I do. I have tried changing the landing gear around, adjusting said gears settings. Turning SAS on and off, adjusting wing and control surfaces. I am at a bit of a loss and wondering if it's a bug or just me missing something.
  9. Um..this isn't about KSP 1 though? I am playing KSP 2.
  10. So first hello all, new to the forums. So I have been struggling with a issue lately where my planes always turn hard right or left when picking up speed on the runway. It does not seem to matter what my landing gear settings are or the configuration of my plane, it just jerks hard right or left without reason. I also tried with and without SAS enabled. Another thing I noticed is that my planes are really bouncy in that they constantly bounce up and down like they are on springs when idle on the ground. Am I just doing something wrong here or is this a case of this version not having quite worked out how air physics works yet? Edit: So for some reason the moderators decided to move this to KSP 1 when I was talking about KSP 2. I guess I should have made that more clear.
