I had the same issue yesterday, I installed GU systems one by one on CKAN to test which would run (Singularity crashes the game as of now btw) and found that after a certain amount of systems were downloaded, no matter which ones I had installed, the game would crash at a similar point to yours. I found that if you pick and choose which ones to have downloaded and are under that "limit" the game runs. I think it's a RAM limitation, because I've looked at my resource usage and when the game crashes it bricks my computer for a few seconds because my RAM is so under load. I have 16 GB and that doesn't cut it for more than 4/5 systems/expansions- the game uses something like 12gb on startup, peaking when it crashes. The less systems I had downloaded, the less RAM the game used. I've been looking into getting more RAM recently anyway, so maybe this will fix the problem. Hope this helps
