  1. Taking your money elsewhere is indeed your only "right". As I see it DLC makes a lot of sense if it is done right. For example an official SpaceX or NASA or [insert favorite company] mission pack with custom parts? I.e. a story campaign. As a sandbox with mods KSP is really good, but I think there is a market for goal-oriented campaigns with storytelling, cut scenes and Kerbals you care about.
  2. It's a shame that more and more people think they are entitled to, well... anything really. Inside info on a company? Free updates? Free additional content? We're not entitled to anything. And from the behavior I've seen on this forum lately I'm not at all surprised that SQUAD doesn't like to tell us much. I would have banned half the people in this forum, but I guess that's bad for business too.
  3. Yes, very strange. I have a hunch it is something that builds up when changing biomes or whenever a new experiment pops up. The problem was only noticeable in low orbit at warp when many biome changes would create a almost constant alert stream from the mod. Hope it hepls. Science Alert is such a great mod (should be stock really) that if I was on linux I could have lived with the leak.
  4. Every time I launched into low K-orbit and used time compression the RAM usage would increase steadily from about 2.5 Gig to when it crashed at 3.8 or thereabouts. I would get constant sound and visual alerts of the available EVA experiments I hadn't done yet as my ship changed biomes along its orbit. I would just watch the mem-meter jump 5-10 mb every few seconds. Removed the mod and it stopped. - - - Updated - - - Here's a list of the other mods I'm running. Could perhaps be a conflict with one of them.
  5. Yup, there's still a memory leak I'm afraid. In low Kerbin orbit the mem creeps up at about a MB or two per second. Removed the mod and the leak stopped.
  6. Until 0.90 when we got satellite missions I really didn't see any use for spaceplanes. However, now that we got a use for them I figured I'd take a stab at making a proper one capable of delivering a useful payload. 1. Design spaceplane and satellites. 2. Fly it. https://vimeo.com/117424611 3. PROFIT!
  7. Same problem here; KSPx64 crashes with the 3m Griffin and 5m engines installed. The other engines are fine. There are also problems with other parts in the pack, though I have yet to find out which ones.
  8. Version X4-2 ... -Added Mapsat to career tech-tree, GPS will be added later when the GPS feature is available again. -GPS part temporarily disabled. Why don't people read the release notes?
  9. What do we want? 64 BIT!!! When do we want it? NOW!!!
