^Great animation! It is very satisfying to get a Kerbo-stationary orbit. I wish there was a way to make your craft always point at Kerbin though.

Star Wars parts / Terran's other projects
TerranCmdr replied to TerranCmdr's topic in KSP1 Mod Development
Sorry! I\'ve been a bit sidetracked. I do plan to continue work on it. It\'s just been a pretty hectic few weeks for me. Also, I\'ve been spending a lot of time on my music and video editing. And my girlfriend. I will update sometime soon, I promise! I think I\'m going to have to re-import everything in the new Unity import thing, which will probably take some time. Also, I had a quick idea that I had to draw up yesterday, here it is: Radial airbrakes -
Someone on the FinalGear forums started a thread about it, which is what got me interested.

I would recommend FRAPS. Very simple and efficient to use. Doesn\'t slow down my system a bit. Good tip on that Alt-Click btw, didn\'t know about that.

Nuka Corp shuttle project ( and apparently other stuff :D )

Really awesome work. Very nice details on the interior of the parachute modules. Love that your pod design incorporates them perfectly as well. I also really like your heavy lift rocket. Keep up the great work, I\'m looking forward to downloading some of your stuff! -
I know I\'m pretty late to the game but I finally sent my first spacecraft to Minmus. Got there on my first try too, despite completely forgetting to put RCS nozzles on my launch vehicle.

Exactly what 3d models do you need? I may be able to help. -

Awesome work! Love the whole rocket design. Very tight fit for that little Kerbal! -
Should we scale up our mods to match our EVA kerbals?

Sure! It\'ll be in 1000 individual parts though.... -

Thanks guys! Yes, I am planning on eventually texturing all the parts. It\'s going to take me a while since I kinda suck at textures. I might make that solar panel, it\'s just an idea I was kicking around but I think it\'s pretty cool. -

Here\'s a quick render to keep you guys interested. Just finishing up modeling these wings, then I\'ll probably move on to the Defender hub and wings. Edit: I got a little sidetracked tonight and messed around with a quick idea for a solar array or communications dish. (nothing to do with this current project, but didn\'t think it deserved its own thread) -
This is without a doubt the most impressive/amazing addon I have ever seen. Hands down. Excellent work sir.

Nice! I actually learned quite a bit just from your little post there. Please follow up with orbital mechanics!

Sorry for lack of updates guys. I\'ve been very busy with other things in my life. I hit a snag with the Interceptor wings and need to make a final decision on the design before I proceed. Stay tuned for another update (hopefully) soon! -
I tried and failed with a dae exporter with Max. Instead I use an obj exporter that works just fine. I can find it for you when I get home later if you want.

Joystick recommendation (and avoidance) thread
TerranCmdr replied to colmo's topic in KSP1 Discussion
I haven\'t found a use for it yet either. I think mine is the first-gen, maybe in the later models they disabled the second throttle altogether. -

^I\'ll verify that myself later. I have the AV8r for PC, and it works beautifully. I\'ve had no problems at all with binding, save the fact that I had to flip a couple axes. I love the faux-toggle switches, I use them for RCS, SAS, landing gear, etc. and have them labeled accordingly. I use the big red button as the staging button, feels very official with the flip-up cover. Also, I was able to bind the 8-way hat to view rotate. Can definitely recommend this stick for KSP. -

No idea, I just found the picture randomly. And don\'t worry, there will be TIE sounds. -

Don\'t really know about ION engines.... right now I just have a modified rocket engine with no flame effects and very small fuel draw. I\'m not much of a programmer. Hopefully I can do a release soon so you guys can mess around with the parts. I want to get more built so its not so boring! -
I use my hat switch for camera control and it works well enough. I think more of an analog input for the camera would work better though. Sometimes I need more precise control.
-
Thought you might like to see my setup. Toggle switches would be awesome. Love your idea! I\'d buy one.

I\'m going to finish off most of the TIE parts before moving on to Rebel craft. If and when I move on to Rebel craft though, you can bet you will see stuff like this:
