  1. Sorry! I\'ve been a bit sidetracked. I do plan to continue work on it. It\'s just been a pretty hectic few weeks for me. Also, I\'ve been spending a lot of time on my music and video editing. And my girlfriend. ;)

I will update sometime soon, I promise! I think I\'m going to have to re-import everything in the new Unity import thing, which will probably take some time.

Also, I had a quick idea that I had to draw up yesterday, here it is:

    Radial airbrakes

  2. Slightly off topic, but it is about videos: What screen capture software do people recommend? I was about to buy FRAPS when I decided I would ask here first.

I would recommend FRAPS. Very simple and efficient to use. Doesn\'t slow down my system a bit.

Good tip on that Alt-Click btw, didn\'t know about that.

  3. Our plan is to set up an automatic rescaling system for parts. That means mod-makers (and we) don\'t need to worry about rescaling models themselves. It will be done when the assets get loaded into the game, and it will be completely transparent. In fact, if it works as we want it to, no one will be any the wiser that things are now 2.5x as big as they were.

Yup, nothing needed on your end.

  4. Here\'s a quick render to keep you guys interested. Just finishing up modeling these wings, then I\'ll probably move on to the Defender hub and wings.

Edit: I got a little sidetracked tonight and messed around with a quick idea for a solar array or communications dish. (nothing to do with this current project, but didn\'t think it deserved its own thread)

  5. ^I\'ll verify that myself later.

I have the AV8r for PC, and it works beautifully. I\'ve had no problems at all with binding, save the fact that I had to flip a couple axes. I love the faux-toggle switches, I use them for RCS, SAS, landing gear, etc. and have them labeled accordingly. :D

I use the big red button as the staging button, feels very official with the flip-up cover.

Also, I was able to bind the 8-way hat to view rotate.

Can definitely recommend this stick for KSP.

  6. I use my hat switch for camera control and it works well enough. I think more of an analog input for the camera would work better though. Sometimes I need more precise control.
