  1. "fysiks" That's a very creative spelling Physics, for further use.
  2. If I'm not mistaken, the Orbital Industries launch vehicle uses a second stage that utilizes solid fuel. I believe this is due to the original design being capable of reusing old "Minuteman" parts.
  3. Damion, no matter how much I pissed you off in IRC, I still love you <3
  4. I have an image of a garage stuffed full of assembled Saturn Vs and a NASA engineer stressing over what they're going to do with them.
  5. \ We've really quite been in the dark about this update. This is in no means an attack to the developers.
  6. I believe that after the new transfer to git, update times were meant to be more frequent, less content-rich updates. You have done significant work on flag placement, so why not release the flag placement as soon as it is done? It would add a small but fine touch to the game, and satisfy your playerbase.
  7. As far as I know, Ike sits on a dunstationary orbit around Duna. Just match its altitude, and you should be fine.
  8. Or do anything, for that matter. All flight related controls (W,A,S,D, Space etc) Are not functional when I have mechjeb. However, whenever I remove Mechjeb, I regain my controls! What do?
  9. Sure. It's an interplanetary craft with extreme issues getting into orbit, you have to be VERY efficient with you launch. Will add it for you. The new plane may take a while, my lagtop makes it hard to launch.
  10. There's a new 3 man on it's way, and watch out - It's a big one!
  11. Hello! The Beef Aerospace Industries are now open, and we're releasing our first range of completely weird aircraft, that somehow decide they can fly! Presenting.... The Very Oddcraft is a revolutionary design combining range, speed and agility. Or at least, that's what all the duct tape is meant to do. Download -http://www./download.php?ifqg0qylewpoefe Screenies! The Three Man Midrange was thrown together with copius amount of blu-tac, PVA glue and cardboard by a crowd of nursery students, then filled with jet fuel. Suprisingly, it seems, baby kerbals have a natural instinct for aerodynamics. Good on them. An interesting note on this craft, is that it will just float off the runway when at speed - no input required! Download - http://www./?nlilb6c2chyubtw Screenies! More on the way soon - Feel free to make suggestions!
  12. OKAY. Now, I completely understand the OP. He cannot be bothered doing long and hard calculations, and/or going through the process of holding a protractor up to the screen, or downloading software to do it. So, here, take a guide from a 14 year old who also doesn't want to have to do calculations, etc. Here we go! STEP ONE: Wait for your planet, and the target planet to reach position. If it's a supreme planet (Higher orbit), wait until the planet is about anywhere between 70 and 45 degrees behind you (Real science is hard.) If it is in a lower orbit, do the same, but take the angle off the target body. STEP TWO: If the target body is higher than you, launch at sunrise, and head straight up. Use your patched conics and adjust your orbit whilst in SOI of you launch body. I don't know why, but it feels more efficient. Take it as you will. Launch at sunset if the planet is lower. STEP THREE: Get your Apoapsis/Periapsis to roughly match the height of the target body's orbit. CHECKPOINT: Quicksave. You'll thank me if Cthulu decides it doesn't like you. STEP FOUR: Warp to the point on the target body's orbit, stop about 15~ minutes out from the point. STEP FIVE: Quicksave. Burn prograde. Keep doing so, until you see an encounter. If you don't, quickload, and burn retrograde until you see the orbit. STEP SIX: Standard capture, like the Mun (Burn retrograde until you reach orbit.) And there you have it. An inefficient, slightly cheaty way of reaching other planets, written by a lazy 14 year old, for other lazy people.
  13. My patched conics refuse to work. I've been trying to get into a Duna intercept, but my patched conics refuse to show me the intercept! First attempt, I didn't propel myself enough, and fell in front of the body. Ok, so the second time - I'll burn for longer! This time, I landed BEHIND Duna! At no point in the second burn did it show a capture.I'm not sure if I should abort the mission and bring the obviously malfunctioning lander back to Kerbin - That is, if the patched conics decide to show a Kerbin intercept.
