Minimum Rocket to get to Minmus

What is the smallest (stock, although MechJeb is allowed, and no cfg edits) rocket you can get to Minmus? The entries will be rated in two ways, which are weight and part total. Post a picture on the launch pad and of it on Minmus.

Would it be possible to have one ship to move the command module off the moon and into a highly elliptical Kerbin orbit, then send another craft to meet your module and slow it? This would save HOURS of waiting. -
Wouldn\'t it make more sense to add an option for parts to have a SoI/set a size for it, so that you could put your asteroids in orbit without overly lagging the game by forcing it to calculate whether objects are in the SoI for everything.

Is the rocket under acceleration while this is happening, or are you turning that off for more precision? For me, it seems that I can only direct my spacecraft usefully when a thruster is going, no matter how much.
