Do you ever felt that watching and gathering Kerbals mods is more important first ? Maybe i drag along the misinformation regarding Kerbal Space Program combined with the gathering of mods : And i still have to check a bit 0.16, 0.25 and 0.90. 1.0.2 and 1.0.4 was not even started. I'm pretty late, no ?

No, i tried.

"From the Earth to the Moon" by Jules Verne https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/From_the_Earth_to_the_Moon Spoiler ahead : "In Jules Verne's novel From the Earth to the Moon, a giant columbiad space gun is constructed in Tampa, Florida after the American Civil War, with the purpose of striking the Moon. Although the cannon is originally designed to fire a hollow aluminum ball, a bullet-shaped projectile is later designed with the purpose of carrying people. It is now known that neither concept is viable using such a cannon. This fictional columbiad is made of cast iron six feet thick, is 900 feet (274 m) long, and has a bore with a diameter of nine feet. It weighs more than 68,000 short tons (61,700 metric tons or 60,700 long tons) and is therefore cast directly in the ground, rather than being mounted on rails. The cannon is then loaded with 400,000 pounds (180,000 kg) of "pyroxyle" (gun cotton) to give the projectile sufficient velocity to leave Earth's atmosphere and reach the Moon." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Columbiad#In_fiction Must be done if copyright ended after author death, accordingly to laws. Or models from a game inspired from a book is not copyrighted ?

I cannot find stable info in kerbal wiki. I must go from piece to piece and is hard for me to read. All those ingame info, where can i find info about them in one place ?

1. Navball numbers and Altimeter GUI are too washed out. I cannot see them good on my monitor. They can be made more crisp ? 2. We need a default compass (N, S, E and V). 3. Can we colect data from the debris, debris (ship parts etc.) that may degrade over time in space ? Debris may become smaller over time and thus degrade in space. 4. ISO en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_International_Organization_for_Standardization_standards Can a simplified version of some of them be made and added in the game ? Example : ISO 11:1987 Aircraft – Ground pressure testing connections for pressure cabins. This iso will imply testing or aircraft destruction is possible in the game. 5. Can a device/rocket be added in the game, so a debris/asteroid be used to command/control it in space ? 6. Management en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glossary_of_business_and_management_terms Example : How in total is a Kerbal mission effectiveness and efficiency related ?

Can the game be translated to other languages ? For example, i'm in the tutorial about orbiting the moon and i don't understand why and how apoapsis and periapsis work for getting to the moon orbit. So a different translation in my language or the other people respective languages will help. I cannot remember in english language elements from the game.

Thank you all.

I played the first demo in the past and didn't reach even the moon. I have now a new pc, besides the slower netbook. How hard is now to learn the game ? I'm attracted, but not like physics (Newton etc.). If i were, i will among the few in my peoples country. I'm sensing that the game goes from some time in a more physical approach and less than a 100 % video game.

I tought that Doom bible (the document for making the Doom game) may help the science facts in KSP. For example : "The celestial body is tidally locked and thus the same hemisphere always faces the star it orbits; therefore it does not have day and night cycles. Because of the synchronous rotation, it is divided into two sections, a continually bright hemisphere called the Lightside, and a complementary sunless hemisphere called the Darkside." http://doomwiki.org/wiki/Tei_Tenga For more, read the Doom bible.

"While attempting to recover a derelict ship, the emergency crew discover the ship has been infested with aliens feeding on the power supply. The crew must return power to the ship and set it on a course back home." http://7dfps.com/?action=games&id=263 Walk on walls, cut down doors with your laser. Objects respect low gravity.

Good PC for hardcore settings?
roarke replied to RikTelner's topic in KSP1 Gameplay Questions and Tutorials
16 gb hd space you meant. I really didn't understand why minimum is dual core but KSP doesen't runnit yet. Only one core. This affects buyers more than developers think. -
Can i just embed youtube clip in the forum ? Maybe this thread should be moved.

http://www.whatisextrasolar.com/ "At its core, Extrasolar is a simulated exploration of a nearby planet that plays out in real time. After you upload directions to your rover you'll have to wait several hours for those directions to be carried out and the resulting images to be transmitted back across the depths of space to your web-based terminal."
