    As minhas sondas geralmente usam motores a Ions sendo assim são tao leves que nao valem apena descartar, mas é claro se você estiver falando do(s) estágio(s) de lançamento então eu acho que é sempre bom descartá-los.

    Is it stable in the atmosphere? I once tried to build a similar looking aircraft but it would always dive and crash into the ground.

    Well, that's the only way I play kethane. It's easier and faster to simply send a refueling craft to Mun's orbit than to get it out of Kerbin and into Mun's orbit.
