  1. that literally makes no sense, sorry.. that\'s like saying i need to put gas in my tires (and not the air kind) you can, on the other hand, attach a fuel pipe to it
  2. pancakes and spacesuits, both are cool i give it a thumbs up 8/10
  3. does anyone have any tips for accurate reentry? im trying to hit the space center using my space plane that can just barley get into orbit and deorbit, so it needs to be as accurate as the space shuttle, but its hard to predict where your going to slow down on a low orbit.
  4. im really confused, im talking about the ram and turbine intake parts added in .15 also, if they did do anything, how would it work? do they need to be attached specifically? or does it work vertical, lets say, if i attached TWO fuel tanks together, then a jet on the back, and a ram intake on the front. you know?
  5. the increased wobbling (at least i think that is, if you are using SAS to steady yourself) is the games autopilot not having enough time to react and calculate things precisely as it would if everything was moving at a slower pace, a lot of games do this
  6. so, lets assume gray is our wanted orbit height, blue is atmosphere, and green is sea level, using my horridly drawn picture here, what is in your opinion the 'best' ascent path regarding fuel, time, type of ship, etc? the first ascent definitely gets you into a circular orbit fastest but i cant tell if it uses more fuel also, when it comes to much larger ships, one or 2 usually a good choice, ive realized that its usually good to be out of the atmosphere by the time your trying to turn, so you have more control
  7. actuary now that i think about it... its the wight system that needs to be competently redone... i just looked now, decouplers are freaking heavy, and so are thrusters..... but the dry weight of a tank is only .3.... that means there about no reason for you to get rid of them because the amount of wght for the decouplers and the new thrusters completely goes over the about your losing from separating them.
  8. sorry buys but, in my opinion, which doesn\'t seem that positive right now, is the balancing should be done. whats the point of building a ship that\'s going to get you where you need to go if you cant say 'wow, all that time and parts, and ive finally done it' at the end. instead of just 'lol 2 parts and im orbiting the sun'
  9. i got to the mun with this, whats the point of building a massive, 6 stage, complex thing that has a closer weight to power ratio? and when the full game is out, more expensive? edit: and had about half of one main fuel tank left
  10. heres a nice little screen shot, taken on Minmus, got off my rover system and ready for take off
  11. umm... speaking of, i can never get a windowed mode to 'fit' my screen, even though that is my native, it fits wired, and lowering the resolution isnt for me.
  12. does anyone else have this problem? ill click alt tab, then go back into the game but its stopped responding by then, the only way to close it at that point is to end the process.
  13. not sure if this has been posed or whatever, but i was trying to make it to the EXACT north pole today and i found what looks like a pyramid
  14. i just tried out the auto TMI to the MUN thing.... uhh, it automatically assumed i was going west instead of 90 degrees and fired the thrusters when the MUN was going down the horizon, any ideas?
  15. NO FREEKIN WAY! i thought rotating parts was impossible! oh god... so many designs i gave up on along time ago because of this. *facedesk*
  16. i wasnt sure where to pst this, so ill do it here, i have a set up here using the cart mod, and i have two rcs tanks on the rover, but those by default are the first things to be used when the rcs is fired even on the first few stages, any ideas?
  17. so, what your saying is, do everything normal, but halfway to the mun correct my path buy burning 'up'? (as indicated by the map)
  18. i had an idea, launch at a heading of north... but that would require extreme luck/timing without a proper trajectory calculating system before launch, and changing your orbital plane once your already making your way there is fuel consuming... any tips?
  19. heheh, i was actually thinking of a model exactly like that when i realized i couldn\'t put bays on the wings due to not being able to rotate parts, but i diddnt want the ship to be rolling around. nice job
  20. there was alot more, i had to delete half of it to lower loading times. also, remember that each debris symbol represents about 5 in all when you zoom in really close
  21. tried to make a sort of car that you can shuttle around on the surface today only out of parts provided with the game. this is what i got Kerbal Space Program 0.15: Drivable rover/car
