  1. FINAL TEST & CONCLUSION: Installed another blank KSP. This time in version 1.3.0 and Extrasolar as well as it's dependencies. Everything installed with CKAN this time. RESULTS: CONCLUSION: Like i said earlier, the Problem is somehwere under the hood of Extrasolar or it's Dependencies. As for now and in my eyes as well as for some german friends the picture is clear: Extrasolar v1.4 is not compatible with Kerbal Space Program 1.3.1 as for now. It's because of the fact that Extrasolar has a Problem, or one of its dependencies that causes this graphic bug. This test should prove that as long as dependency mods do not support KSP 1.3.1, then the Mod that uses this dependency can not too. And i think this is the case here if, as you said Extrasolar v1.4 is using scatterer to display this rings with the help of some scatterer effects. Somehow Extrasolar does not use Scatterer in KSP 1.3.0 at all and in KSP 1.3.0 LOMINA has no bugs. Another thing i want to mention is the fact that scatterer in its latest version does not support KSP 1.3.1 - instead it only supports KSP 1.3.0. But somehow Galileo88 managed to get its Rings in VE, GPP and OPM to work and as far as i understand it, its Kopernicus that manages the rings on planets and not scatterer. For sure this seems to be an hard case and i hope i was able to provide you with some help to figure out where to search for the bad file or code. best regards, MKev
  2. okay i will setup one of my other KSP installs with my modset and just extrasolar and its dependencies (scatterer, eve, etc.). I will install my modset with CKAN as always and Extrasolar and its dependencies without CKAN. Let you know what i found out.... UPDATE!: So i made a huge testing run now. Several Tests based on Extrasolar v1.4 with its dependencies Kopernicus and scatterer (both latest versions). This are my results: TEST 1: I tested new installation of KSP 1.3.1 with standard modset but without Astronomer's Visual Enhancer. RESULTS: TEST 2: I tested Extrasolar v1.4 on a new KSP 1.3.1 blank installation without any mods except the dependencies and Environmental Visual Enhancement as an extra. RESULT: TEST 3: Same as Test 2. Blank KSP 1.3.1 installation with absolute no mods what so ever except Extrasolar's dependencies. My RESULTS:
  3. Well there is nothing hard to install here. You provided instruction didn't you? 1) The version of Scatterer is the latest: scatterer v0.0320b 2) The version of Kopernicus is the latest: Kopernicus 1.3.1-3 3) The version of Extrasolar is the latest: Extrasolar v1.4 4) My KSP version is the latest: 1.3.1 5) Gamedata Folder: 6) I can not provide any output log any longer since i switched from Extrasolar to OPM by Galileo88 with same scatterer, same EVE, same Kopernicus version and same Modset as Listed below without any issues. I have several other Blank installations of KSP 1.3.1 with minimal modset and can continue testing on this matter if u wish. But i never used output logs and need advise were to find them or how to produce them. A friend of mine just checked Extrasolar on his modset and has the same issues btw. 7) My actual Campaign runs with Kerbal + OPM + Enhanced OPM Visuals on the same Mods that i used with Extrasolar and it Looks like this: And somehow Extrasolar v1.4 looked like this: Clipboard Copy from Addon-Version Checker: Best Regards, MKev
  4. Done. But still only black rings for LOMINA. Same for Optional folder install too. Somehow it looks like this is unsolveable. Rings on GPP for instance worked fine. But i am not into modding and dont know wich files to look into. Since Both GPP and Extrasolar is using EVE. regards UPDATE: I just found some more graphical bugs and i can point out Extrasolar EVE settings as the source. The Clouds of Kerbal stay dark on fly through and in orbit, my vessel is dark as if i fly on the dark side of Kerbal, but the sun is up and should shine on my vessel. So i tried to switch mods that use EVE and reinstall etc. but as soon as i install Extrasolar the Lominar Rings are dark, and the same happens with clouds and vessels. Manualy installing Extrasolar as last mod does not help either. Sadly i ended up removing Extrasolar from my mod list and i hope this graphic glitch gets fixed some day so i can enjoy this Planetary mod. kind regards, MKev
  5. Hi just removed Astronomer's Visual Enhancer and the Problem is still there. https://imgur.com/NnKCP6y Kopernikus is up to date as well all the other mods. All mods are installed via CKAN and updated. regards.
  6. Hey there, i love this mod and i use it in conjunction with Astronomer's Visual Enhancement. It looks outstanding with it. There is only one Problem that i dont get figured out and need help with. It's LOMINA's Rings. They are black only. Can somebody help me with this issue? Astronomer's Visual Enhancement is taking use of EVE and Scatterer, i hope they don't interfere somehow with LOMINA's Rings. I dont want to miss Astronomer's VE because it is the best visual mod i know atm. Any suggestions or help would be highly appreciated. best regards MKev
