  1. Even my largest of stuff my computer can permit me follow the pointy rockets principle too. Note the standard lifter and sleek (length > width) design. Also, this was launched mostly empty to cut weight instead of (downside is, the need for before continuing on). Fully enclosable with fairings. Only that you'll end up with something slightly larger (and wider) than your lifter
  2. Dem spaceplanes. Kerbal Space Program pros all over in this thread! Anyway here: As for the skyon-ish replicas, tried making one, always had that "death roll" on the way back to kerbin...
  3. 133: When doritos and mtn dew can't make you MLG anymore.
  4. More testings and modifications for my reusable interplanetary booster. Nothing follows. Yeah, achievements/accomplishments are nothing. You can never be a pro KSP player if you haven't launched a spaceplane into orbit and landed back safely to kerbin* *of course I'm just kidding.
  5. I always practice "pointy rockets", since that's how they do it in real life (because of how aerodynamics work), and not to mention for aesthetic purposes (I want my rockets to look sleek and aerodynamic, and not to look like abominations filled-to-the-brim with rocket fuel). But since there's no payload fairings by default in stock, it can't be done without improvising. Improvising = more parts = more chances of lagging. So my typical stock lifters look something like this: With mods, they look like this: So aerodynamics are now getting overhauled... say goodbye to lifters looking more like "stack of boosters" than actual lifters and oversized irregular payloads Hello realistic looking rockets!
  6. "The One" or "Kaebrl Sacpe Pagrorm".
  7. Unreal Tournament 3. Also UT '99 never played UT2004 tho. ]
  8. I hope it'll birth a new hubble, but it can't Kidding aside, what happened to this thing? (inb4 Kryten being awesome coming out of nowhere to give the answer)
  9. Banned for being composed of floating-point errors
  10. WINDOWS 10? so which means there's no such thing as that during windows 7? collecting to improve system performance? yeah, sure... "improving"...
  11. Yeah! Ban dihydrogen monoxide. Studies shown that 100% of the people who took it eventually dies.
  12. Sorry for the inactivity for the past months. College happened still going actually, just got time to go back playing and reviewing all entries here. Just finished reviewing all entries starting from the very last entry I've reviewed before I went inactive for a while. 22 made it! good job guys. Nice entries guys! Welcome to the club keep it up! oh wow. awesome! never knew someone can actually do that Impressive! Unfortunately the F3 shot is required, so yea
  13. oh my god, too many entries to review. LOL gotta go each of them first from the frontpage:
  14. Nothing much, just testing stuff. -Ground testing my massive six-engine interplanetary booster. I intend this one to have enough dV to go and return from any point in kerbin system, and to be fully reusable (modular). -Smaller test: Using monopropellant boosters as a thrust reverser to help the brakes during landing. Made a VSTSL (Very Short Takeoff-Standard Landing), put an RCS in and two monopropellant thrusters facing foward.
  15. Changes in ASAS? Looks fine to me, no problem. Probably you are doing something wrong. And that's coming from someone who took a long break. Also, present a video or screenshot of what is going on. Otherwise we will dismiss you as a troll.
  16. Banned for maximizing minmus 97 times.
  17. Slapping RCS everywhere for controls and stability (I don't trust gimbals before). Also, strut abuse - putting struts on EVERY section of the rocket and spacecraft just to make sure it won't wobble (even the slightest wobble isn't tolerable) and fall apart in-flight. End result: unnecessarily high parts count, which means LAG. Even small probes can have a part count of 20+, almost half of it are struts. Those were back when I don't trust innate stability of the parts. Example of RCS overkilling: -Early energia copy. Examples of "Struts Everywhere!" -Yes, even the engines have them.
