So i tried to make the rocket as depicted in the KSP logo. I have finished it. this is the result. It IS possible to get into orbit with this rocket.

I have found a work around, if you use the mk1 command as reinstated by this mod and put a mechjeb BELOW it, it will work.

Hey it seems that with a mechjeb pod andone of your command pods, mechjeb ascent autopilot wont auto throtle correctly

Use what? and how do you calculate the burn times and angles?

Just a suggestion that im sure has been suggested before, but a way to go from the launchpad on kerbin to any other planet without having to go into a solar orbit would be nice.

Well im not new to the game, started just after .15, but have never posted here before. So I am a College Freshman that is studying to become an Aerospace Engineer, go figure right. As stated before I have been playing for a while, just have never posted in here before. I have landed on the Mun and Minimus, but alas both of them were one way tickets, best way to go to get humans to mars soon though. I am currently working on getting a rocket to Eve any interplanetary tips would be useful, also i use mechjeb.
