  1. A very very common joystick is the Saitek X52. It has roll, pitch, and yaw all on one stick, with a separate throttle. Even though I have that stick, I don't use it. I find using a keyboard gives me more control.
  2. Though I agree with you, I've actually seen documentaries calling the Moon a planet. It must be a common mistake.
  3. Plus, if the developers have a version stable enough to give to the youtubers, it wont be too long before they will iron out the final bugs and be able to give it to us.
  4. Recently, the devs have stated that instead of doing really big updates spaced out farther apart, they will try to make quicker, but smaller updates. The 1.6 anniversary is right around now, so that gives you a clue on what it has been so far. .18 came out in very very late November, .19 came out in early march, .20 came out in late may, and .21 is right around the corner. That will give you a reasonable time scale.
  5. Congrats you are the 10,000th poster in this thread. (I have a picture of 9999 as well)
  6. This is just one reason why I love steam and their marketing department. The original price for this would have been $120
  7. I used to have a picture of a perfect ring that I was looking at in full zoom out of my space shuttle. I deleted my KSP folder, so it's gone now. This is the only known picture: http://i.imgur.com/ggIKL6p.png
  8. We should all just be happy that for the past few updates they didn't break the saves. I actually never carried over my save file anyways.
  9. I heard it all the time when I used to play Call of Duty.
  10. I've heard 1/6th, 1/10th, and 1/11th now. Which is it?
  11. When in IVA and zoomed in to the max, Jool appears as 4 pixels. A 5th one pops up occasionally. It shows as smaller than stars, and it's almost impossible to find by accident. It's over 100 times smaller than other stars.
  12. Without any mods you can see Jool from low kerbin orbit. It shows as about 4 green pixels blinking on and off, with a 5th one blinking signifying that it moved a little from your perspective.
  13. If you are still looking for members, I'm up to join.
  14. Perhaps you might want to try with this: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/showthread.php/12106-0-20-Lionhead-Aerospace-Inc-ATV-Ariane-5-released-now-%21%21
  15. Notice the Earth in Pictures of the ISS: http://scienceblogs.com/startswithabang/files/2010/09/iss_sts119_big.jpeg See how close the ISS is to the Earth? If the Earth was a Classroom globe, the ISS wouldn't be far from the lacquer on that Globe. Though 284 KM might be the correct altitude in some ways, to get the same view as the ISS, you need to be MUCH lower.
  16. Well, for starters.. It is called EVA, not IVA. IVA is for when you are in vehicle, EVA is when you are out. Try googling EVA instead of IVA.
  17. Probably Terraria is number 1 at over 493 hours. Then most likely Pokemon with hundreds of hours. Then battlefield 3, I think I only have 276 hours in that one. Kerbal Space Program should have hundreds of hours, but i only got it on steam a few weeks ago so I only have 45 hours played. :/
  18. I've always accepted that fact that they didn't have a collision mesh. Come to think of it though, I'm not sure why. Even monoliths don't have collision meshes.
  19. Just watched the video with Chris Hadfield less than a minute ago. In case anyone is wondering, this is the video I'm talking about and it's awesome: Now someone should make a video of a Kerbal singing in the Cupola module!
  20. You are one good pilot. All my failures just destroy everything and make the mission a failure. Kudos to you for being able to think quick enough to jettison those boosters and continue the mission. Falcon 9 style!
