my fav boost rocket base, has never had a collision during stage sep with sepatrons, seps fire up and out along the tanks tilted up axis, tanks are angled in towards the engine at the bottom, so the closest point is lowest on the rocket, when the seps fire everything moves up out and away and then down as the rocket moves up the center and the tanks fall away like petals of a flower

ypu got the basics down though, always pull the long ships should probly make jool, plenty o fuel, only 2 engines, should do it might have too make afew passes to break kerb orbit

you might have too put some other part under there for the legs to grab, like a tail hook sortof thing if i was doing it though id just use kas cables and plugs, a lot easier

every part connects to another at a single point, you cannot, for instance, have a fuel tank connect radially to another fuel tank and also conect to another fuel tank above it that is connected raadially to the same fuel tank, do do this you have to dock parts together ie. -
My favorite Refueling station design, nice low part count, extremely stable, structurally sound design 3 oring tanks connected by too 1 solid structure with a central core

laggy?, you must be using large ships if its laggy, if your just learning try practicing on the small vessels, theyre more maneuverable and easier to learn on, same principles apply to the big ships as the small ships but you need to be more careful and deliberate in your movements so smaller is always better when learning if your already an expert and just complaining then im with you, i hate docking stuff to space stations with a lot o junk hanging off them, thats why i like the minimalist stations, minimum needed to function no flash or decoration

theres probably something blocking the re-attachment, a collision mesh from another part too close to the docking clamp most likely (RCS tanks maybe, cant really see), you can often undock things built in the VAB that have conflicting meshes just fine but cannot reconnect because of the conflicting collision meshes, try moving some of the parts close to the port so they arent so close and see if that works -

i doesnt have to have a new model or anything, just use the small version and adjust the rescale factor in the cfg and tweak the mass and energy production values etc.. ive done it myself but i'd prefer something with official values -

hey majir, are you going to release an official 2m version of the generator sometime soon? -
the only way to geo synch above KSC is to go into orbit normally and adjust your timing so that you arrive at geosynch at the same time as you arrive above the KSC. if you go straight up KSC will rotate beneath you before you even get close to geosych orbit ranges. geosynch is useful because you can position your station at a phase anle for a specific rocket so it can make a normal ascent straight into a rendezvous with the station every time

sometimes the symetry of your rocket will not allow you to place RCS in 4 axis symetry so you use the in line RCS thrusters then so you still have RCS movement in all axis -

They're Great, i scaled one up to make a bigger version for an unmaned mining Well Head Its Real Easy to find in the Dark Too just need to figure a way to refuel unmanned probes? cause this one needs a kerbal to connect the fuel hoses -

i cant find any kethane, I scan, and my map says its there, my scanner says its there when i'm landed, but my drill finds nothing, is there something im missing, it used to work, the only mods i use are mech jeb and KAS and theres no conflict that I'm aware of, i even did a clean install so i dont know why i cant find any useful kethane EDIT: Figured It Out, You Cannot Sit The Big Drill Unit Directly On The Ground, It Will sit below the kethane level and wont mine anything even if its there -
nothing makes evolution happen it just does, it cannot ,not, happen. genes are passed on, some combinations are better for survival others are not, as long as the carrier survives to breed the genes are passed.

evloution works by survival of the fittest, if you are not able to survive you dont pass on your genes, some apes had mutatant characteristics and traits that enhanced their ability to survive and passed on their genes, those that did not have these traits died out or were replaced as the genes spread through breeding, evolution takes a long time, as for how it happened in the movie, no idea

I design in modules, so i design a module to do what i need then i send it to orbit and dock my standard accessories, engine, fuel, etc..., to it once its there and off i go

this is my favorite launcher, simple, reliable, hard working not prone to explosions or interpretive dance, stick whatever is needed on top can lift a whole full orange tank into orbit, probably more but haven't tested just disable or enable the outer rocket engine gimbals depending on mass of the load on top -

you might want to rebind your RCS translate keys to use the numpad aswell, and remember when making your approach to be agressive, the faster you get in close to your target the less fuel you will need to spend correcting for kerbins rotating reference frame -
