  1. I know, it's just because it's the only picture of ancient Kerbin I could find. That's what I want.
  2. I think a misc craft type should exist. My Kerbal Maneovering Unit is not a probe, Ship, or Rover.
  3. Some kerbals have feminine names. I have Jendas, the first kerbal on Minmus and she is also the first kerbal in space.
  4. Here's a description of KSP for ya! Us space team's space game is a many-type game where the people make their own space job. In Us space team's space game, you must build a space-good thing, that can fly its people out into space, without killing them. For you to use is a lot of parts, which must be put-together to make a good space-thing. Each part has its own job and will change the way a space-thing flies (or doesn't). So make yourself go in, and get ready to try some Up-Goer Learning! By the way, you are not a human in this game. You are a little green man.
  5. http://i.imgur.com/RQgcQEf.jpg I can't post the image with a [img/] thing because it's REALLY big. Based on XKCD's Upgoer Five. http://xkcd.com/1133/ Update! made it look more like a blueprint.
  6. The Other, bad fighting-with-the-people-who-made-the-Up-goer-Five Type of people's Space-car that puts it-self together with the really big space city in the ring around the world has three parts. The first one is the people box. It has chairs and windows and people in it. It has a thing on it that keeps it safe from the fire when the people box hits the tiny part of the air really high up until it gets to the bigger part of the air lower down. Then clothes-type stuff on it (the same type that the people who fall from the sky have in a back-pack to slow them down) comes out and slows the people box down and it lands on the ground near home. Above it is the ball-type thing that has a ring on it that puts it-self together with the space city. It can have people in it, but only when the space-car is in space. The people then go into the space-city when the space-car is put together with the Space-City. It is thrown away after the People-Box goes down home. The one under the People-Box has weird wet air in it for burning, and other weird air that burns when it touches the other air. There are things on it that takes the weird air and burns it and moves the Space-Car. There are also lots of really tiny things just like that that turn the Space-Car. It is also thrown away when the People-Box goes down home. The people who made this type of Space-Car (There were others) were not happy with and racing with the people who made the type of Space-Car that went to the other world and back. The people who made the Space-Car we were talking about also put the first ball in a ring around the world, the first person in space, and the first person in a ring around the world. A big long stick with fire at the bottom of it, with other Fire-Sticks on the side, put the Space-Cars into Space. The Space-Car that went to the other world used a lot of really big fire sticks on top of each other. That was the Up-Goer Five. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Upgoer-Five Text Editor http://splasho.com/upgoer5/ Try to find out, and post a picture, of what I'm describing. Then make your own description of a spacecraft or space-related-thing using the Upgoer Five text editor, and someone else will have to post a picture of what they are describing.
  7. I asked on the pre-0.21 stream if C7 wanted to re-do the engine effects, He said that he'd like to re-do them. I'd suspect they'd also change it for each engine.
  8. lol no, it's the Russian spacecraft. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Soyuz_(spacecraft)
  9. They already re-did almost everything. I think a few things could use a re-do, like the large ASAS, the Mainsail, and the Poodle, but a lot of things are great as they are.
  10. The Crater inside the crater on the foreward side of the Mun that has a mountain in it is Judy Mountain, named after my dead aunt Judy who I made a mission to that crater in memorial to her.
  11. I am very disappointed that Mulbin won. If they packaged Mulbin's lander with the game, do you think anyone could figure out what the heck was going on? I love Mulbin's ships but they are not by any means intuitive or simple. That's what the stock ships should be, not ships that are essentially a shell of an Apollo Lunar Module wrapped around some fuel and an engine.
  12. I think I heard (and experienced) that they removed the helmets awesomeness. After all, when was the last time you saw in Danny's videos a surviving Kerbal from a head bounce?
  13. Simple suggestion I thought of to ease building a bit, a key that when pressed puts a strut down on the vessel at the cursor ready to be connected to the other end. If the cursor is not on the vessel, it will put a strut in the "hand" of the cursor, for it to put down.
  14. I will be doing more launches and documenting them. I am going to try to put two fireworks together and see how that works.
  15. Little Teenaged HarvestR launched some rockets. http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/showthread.php/8995-I-have-found-it!!-THE-ORIGINAL-KERBO-LOG! YouTube link to the launch and recovery is in the descriptions of the first and second images. I put Bill and Bob (two toy plastic astronauts) in a firework rocket and launched them into SPAAAAACE! Unfortunately the ship exploded before it got to the point where the fuel ran out too early. Clearly it was a bad idea to use a firework rocket.
  16. It is awesome. I just got to orbit Smearth (SR's response to Kerbin).
  17. Here is one heavily based off of the stock lander. I think it was really good with few problems. I removed the Separatron Launch Boosters, the useless adapter and nosecones, and added RCS. It also has two CRAP cargo ready addon ports. for attaching rovers and the like. Spaceport Download. http://kerbalspaceprogram.com/better-stock-craft-mk2-two-stage-lander/
  18. I don't find many of these designs intuitive enough. Really the stock lander is great.
  19. Unfortunately it seems that the subassembly loader could use some work, but I am sure they will iron out the bugs.
