  1. 8/10 I like your military vehicles, especially the Chickadee and Weaver.
  2. Let me know if you'd like to order. Apparently I was raising awareness for a fundraiser over Facebook.
  3. He meant it used 8 Redstone tanks around a Jupiter-C tank; but you're right, it did use 8 engines and fins. Anyways, this is a really good Skylab, a bit small compared to the CSM, but you can't really do much about that without re-sizing the Hitchhiker.
  4. This is my current .20 save. Most of the debris in LKO is at 75km and is mainly from Mercury (Atlas core stage), Gemini (Titan II 2nd stage), and Apollo/SatV Launches (Saturn V 2nd stage). Most of the debris in higher eccentric orbits are upper stages of interplanetary launchers where I used what was left of the upper stage to save some fuel on the actual transfer stage. I have yet to have any debris collisions but my closest call was at 200m.
  5. Try getting rid of the Lazor plugin, I had a glitch, kinda similar to yours, caused by a possibly old/outdated Romfarer.dll in 0.20.
  6. You go to "Settings" in the top right and on the left, about midway down, there should be a button to edit your sig. However, I don't think you can change you signature until you have at least 5 posts. EDIT: Additionally, for future reference, questions referring to the forum itself, like this, should be in The Forum Forum in the KSP Network section.
  7. I came close to having a log fall on me. I mean, it knocked me down and the only reason it didn't crush me was because it got stuck on a rock. Fortunately I was able to shake it off after awhile. I was still lucky though, another guy almost had his finger ripped off.
  8. What I always thought would be cool is an optional cutscene of the VAB doors opening and a crawler taking your ship out to the launch pad or maybe a ground vehicle taxiing your plane out to the runway when you launch a craft.
  9. Banned for not forcing others to play the game your way.
  10. Vostok: See a map (NOT MY OWN) of where it should be. Edit: Additionally, it would be cool if there were a large city taking up the whole larger peninsula where Vostok is on the map.
  11. I guess you mean Kirrim Kerman, or Danny2462. Scott and Danny are very different. Scott's videos contain quite a few helpful tutorials that help KSP players learn more about KSP physics and orbital mechanics coupled with some entertaining commentary. Danny's videos are more along the lines of comedy. He does silly/stupid/crazy things to entertain people. Most of Scott's videos are helpful and kinda funny. Most of Danny's videos are pure comedy.
  12. In my main .20 save, I have a Luke Sky-I mean Kerman, a Thomgun, and a Donton Kerman.
  13. According to Ngram Viewer, the first mention of the word "Dalek" was in 1895. Close to 70 years before the start of Doctor Who.
  14. 5/10 Awesome It's okay, my first avatar pic was of my first Duna probe coming around the dark side of Ike.
  15. 2/10 You seem vaguely familiar.
  16. I live in America, about an hour from Johnson Space Center. I live in a tiny town of about 800 people spread out about the countryside. Literally, all we have is a service station and a meager truck stop. If you know your [Texas] history well enough you can probably decipher my location from my profile location.
  17. Holding down the middle mouse button in-flight will pivot the camera off center of the craft(like in this photo); double-click MMB to reset view.
  18. Toshogu, not to be rude, but most of the stuff you just asked for is either a planned feature or in a mod. Especially the robotic arms and telescopes. The idea about the winglets/control surfaces using electricity is definitely original and unique, but may be more of an annoyance to many planes and Kerbal aviators. Just my opinion.
  19. Same here. I'm hoping to work for SpaceX/NASA in a few years when I'm done with the rest of school. In fact, I have Kerbal to thank for my career choice/new obsession. I mean, I've always been kinda interested in space/NASA thanks to my dad, but I didn't get REALLY in to it until I found KSP.
  20. Nice, but the cool thing is that Ike is in a geosynchronous orbit of Duna, so on that time each day, your stranded Kerbals will be treated to an awesome celestial event.
  21. I don't know for sure, but you can probably calculate it by looking at the orbital period of a geosynchronous satellite (or in the case of Duna, Ike's orbital per.), and it should tell you the total rotational time of the planet. From there divide in half to get the time of the day/night(be aware that this value will be in the same value as the orbital period, if the o.p. is measured in hours, the rot time will be in hours).
  22. I can't really say for exact height, but using Mapsat and looking at the mountains on the map will give you a general idea(possibly down to a hundred-meter difference).
  23. F1, and F2 hides the HUD for scenic/better looking shots. Anyways, practice makes perfect, and once you learn how to dock, it starts to get easy. If you havent already, I suggest you watch some of . But overall, I suggest you do a "Gemini-esque" program to help you practice enhanced orbital manuvers and docking.
