  1. And thus it takes away most of the achievement. see the bold text on my last text.
  2. A debate about MechJeb. Exciting. £10 on Pakled!
  3. Oh, yes. If it's permanent, it MUST be absolutely AMAZING-LOOKING.
  4. A very big and un-ignorable part of KSP is the "sense of achievement" part. MechJeb is nothing more than a removal of that. I'm sure most of us will know the feeling of landing of the Mun for the first time, but if you use MechJeb for that, than you will NEVER feel that amazing feeling. You will always miss out. The problem here is that alot of people don't understand what a sense of achievement is. It's not about how much you enjoy the voyage, but how much you enjoy the pride. It's how the game can set off a wide variety of emotions, and stress just makes the rest more rewarding. If you don't experience unhappiness, you don't experience happiness.
  5. I'd love to land on 3 different custom trophies.
  6. One step closer to being better than the dinosaurs. " "- StreetLampPro
  7. I usually try to make my re-entry the most interesting part of the mission. Parachutes are boring.
  8. Simply post your favourite part of KSP. For me, that would be how dynamic the missions can be. Like, having a big margin for error. It's really interesting to see how a tiny failure can change a mission, but not enough to completely screw it up.
  9. Air-breathing engines. Do they work on Eve? I haven't yet been able to play 0.17, so I won't know.
  10. My rockets can have a very, very huge variety of styles. I really have no limits. If anything, I suppose I strive for minimalism.
  11. There's an idea for a thread. "What's your favourite part of KSP?" Personally, I love how failures can affect a mission, but not completely kill everyone and everything. You know, failures that don't matter too much. I'll go make that thread. Hold my bear.
  12. I have never used the altimeter for anything. Especially landing.
  13. It doesn't matter how much fuel you use, he's asking about speed. The angle depends on how fast you go.
  14. Maybe kerbin's atmosphere used to extend out to Minmus, but was very thin. The atmo was quickly brought down to Kerbin, but the outer atmo was travelling at orbital speeds from Kerbin's spin. Of course, a Keostationary orbit is below the Mun, but the atmo wasn't spinning as fast as Kerbin, a cause of wind on Earth. So Minmus formed, as a frozen sphere of water, or perhaps with it being Methane/kethane, the atmo used to be Methane/kethane-rich but then something happened. But anyway, there was a collision with two icy asteroids, and the cloud of snow left behind hit the outer parts of the Kerbin system, covering Minmus in these mountains, and someone else can think of why the lakes are exposed.
  15. It didn't happen when the Mun was released either.
  16. More to the point, what sort of lander can escape Jool?
  17. Let's not de-rail the thread, quiet about mechjeb before all hell breaks loose.
  18. 118, where you find a new hat. You put it on. You may now turn any floors into cats.
  19. After ascending, you feel a tingy feeling, that makes you want to head down. You think it's just the healing elixir, but you can't resist and so you descend to floor 119. You find this.

  21. In panic, you fall down the stairs to floor 120. You find a smeg head.
  22. A real language may have a single word that would be multiple words in another language.
  23. 123, where an old man motivates you to head on all the way down to floor 1. So you begin your adventure back to the start.
