  1. After this post: All straight members will be raped All gay members will be raped by women All bi members have outwitted me and will be dealt with later
  2. DO NOT under ANY CIRCUMSTANCES put underscores in your part names. It will make your vehicle unable to be re-loaded after it was saved. Wrong: // --- general parameters --- name = 2m_fuel_tank module = FuelTank author = NovaSilisko Right: // --- general parameters --- name = 2mfueltank module = FuelTank author = NovaSilisko Be smart! Keep underscores out!
  3. Right now they're a midpoint between the 1m and 2m tank sizes. Shouldn't be too unbalanced. Though, I'm the only one taking prices of parts into account for balance purposes...
  4. Forgot to ask this earlier, when you say 60k, do you mean 60 km, or 60,000 km?
  5. All meals will never be eaten if they post below this post.
  6. If you increase the weight and crash tolerence of the hollow decouplers it seems to help the stability issues.
  7. But yeah I'll probably enter. Am I allowed to use my micro SRBs?
  8. Yeah, I always merge my models into as few objects as possible. I feel cleaner that way, but maybe it has other benefits!
  9. v0.9 was uploaded earlier, and v1.0 should arrive somewhere very close to KSP 0.9! Also, fancy render of a new engine in 1.0:
  10. Testing new parts leads to some wonderful things. This is the vehicle I will use to reach the moon, when the time arises: A core of two three-meter fuel tanks, with a protective sheath over the center engine, surrounded by six two-meter liquid fueled boosters. This thing is a BEAST. No download yet, since some parts used aren't released yet.
  11. The most space-junk producing rocket in history
  12. Seperate the parts you want to stay on the rocket into a seperate object, name it 'anchor'. Name the rest of the parts 'base'
  13. Updated the first post with new pictures. Best mockup is there, too:
  14. I must make a better one now!
  15. No I did not. Also, looking at it again, even 20,000 KM is similar in visual size to the earth from the moon... Remember, I don't mean METERS, I mean KILOMETERS. 48,000 meter orbit for a moon would be amusing though.
  16. There's actually four boosters on the side, you just can't see them in the picture I gave =p
  17. The 2m tanks flipping sideways is caused by trying to place them on the side of something. I'll fix it in the next version (a specific clamp piece will be the only 2m part to attach to the sides of things, it acts as a decoupler too)
  18. At 5000 km, kearth starts looking pretty small. At 48000 it's similar in size to the earth from our moon.
  19. 20. Nah, the 'put the mun in orbit' part comes soon.
