That first screenshot is blurry in that it looks like the camera has fog over the lens, which indicates the bloom effect is probably turned up too high. Honestly, it's not a very endearing screenshot, as you can probably tell by the generally negative responses you're getting. I'd suggest getting fraps reinstalled so you can add more attractive screenshots with side-by-side vanilla screenshots so people can easily see what it adds to the game. The in-game screenshot mechanism probably doesn't capture the dx overlay which is why it's not showing the effects.

I'm also receiving the exception others are reporting, when there are no .zip files present in the --MODS-- folder. <hr> I realize you're well aware of that particular bug' date=' but I reported it anyway because a user's first impression of a program should never be that of an error! Unless your program is [i']designed to create errors. <a href="http://instantrimshot.com/">Like Windows</a>, amirite? I have to agree with some other commenters that including support for different archival formats would be a very good idea, because aside from .zip, .rar and .7z formats are quite popular. Converting them to .zip format presents a hurdle for less savvy users.

You only need two parts. Easy mode: Start with the Remote Control pod, build a rocket as usual, and add an omnidirectional antenna on the last stage. Voilà. -

Rather than modeling imperialist American capitalist pigdog death machines meant for the destruction of peace-loving People's republics throughout the world, I'd like to see more parts related to heroic Soviet designs! A part the game desperately needs (for both Eastern and Western aircraft, I might add) is a more box-like conformal fuselage segment to mimic engine spaces, as seen on these fine winged beasts: A narrower flavour with perfectly vertical profile, lacking the "raked" design from top to bottom: Even if it's just an "intake" part that can interface to a round fuselage part at the rear and become rectangular in shape at the front, angled from top to bottom (I hope that makes sense).

I didn't know that but it doesn't surprise me. Unfortunately I don't have any suggestions :/ Actually, I do have a suggestion: Use <a href="http://imgur.com/gallery/5YZLw">www.imgur.com</a> for screenshots. It easy, powerful and free. Texture problems aside, I'm really looking forward to the new parts

RATO pods: awesome. Now I don't have to find room for SRBs to get my ridiculously large spaceplanes off the pavement. Since these pods are somewhat of WW2 vintage, my only suggestion would be to add conformal JATO boosters similar to more modern designs. Additionally, perhaps create very small decouplers, sized to match the bottles themselves, as the "Structural Pylon" part is a good bit oversized for these units.

You should use a site like www.imgur.com to host images. That screenshot is illegible. Also, that's not a very thorough map. -

It works at up to 10x warp speed, although warping doesn't change the rate at which the plugin polls the surface. Therefore at 5x or 10x speed you'll get fewer data points per unit of distance traveled and thus inferior coverage compared to 1x speed, although there shouldn't be any gaps, per se, just more distance between points.

Must be something else causing it. Could be that your orbit's apoapsis was over 500km, which is beyond the range of the mapsat antenna. In such a situation you get blank spots on your map when your orbit went past 500km, then it'd start again as you descended below 500.
