This version is split according to the river and the mountains to the east of that river.

The question is self-explanatory, just propose how you would divide planets into about 4 - 7 continents
To start things off, here is my view of the Kerbin continents:
-
It raises the question of course: how in the name of the Flying Spaghetti Monster can you transfer fuel through rock?
When the FL-R25 RCS Fuel Tank's description talked about "new advances in plumbing technology", it was not messing around.
-
Granted. At the end of today, the world is destroyed by bees. You just sped up the world's bee destruction.
I wish that I knew the V0tGil word for "bee".
-
Granted. Less bees are the most dangerous type of bee. Little less bees mean that they can enter your throat more easily.
I wish there were no less bees.
-
Granted. You are now a Swampert-Brony Crossbreed.
I wish that I wished for something.
-
Granted. Knowing that they can not be harmed by any means, they rise up in a violent rebellion and overthrow you as the leader of the space program.
I wish for non-invincible Kerbals.
-
Granted. Since your wish is blank, the universe ceases to exist.
I wish Maximus97 made a wish.

We can't barely control our nukes even now
[citation needed]
Nuclear weapons seem very controlled to me.

Another obvious factual error is that Ryan Stone is, in real life, a male Canadian hockey player.

And there's no one to force you to stop doing anything you want (like in prison). No more ***? Why not ****? Who would punish you?
[...]
The whole concept of a permanent settlement requires law enforcement, at least.
Other people would. If you do something like that regularly on a Mars colony where everyone knows everyone else, I wager that you'd soon end up sleeping outside. Suitless.
Anyway, law enforcement isn't some magical nonhuman force that you can store in a tank. Law enforcement is, in fact, composed of other humans. Guess what's coming along on the colony?
-
Allmost anything is possible with enough money and lives thrown at it.
Or, if you're the SCP foundation, D-class
-
One person asked you about what you knew about physics, which is pretty far from "out of hand".
And you have received questions! Just look at this thread! Plenty of questions here for you to answer, and there's likely plenty more on the way if more people see this thread.
If you don't feel that the current questions are up to scratch, feel free to ask me to throw a few more your way. Here's another one:
"What would I see if I jumped into a black hole?"
-
But in my opinion the only sad thing is that Mars One is the only one actually actively pursuing to get to Mars*.
They say that they are, but they're saying they'll have a Mars colony in ten years when even NASA's not landing there for another twenty. We could embrace it, but embracing things that probably won't happen is foolish.
-
Space needs to be free of political boundaries. Everyone can use space so long as they don't interfere with anyone else's use of space (no orbital littering, demolishing other countries' infrastructure on other worlds, etc.). It would be good to force humans off the Earth to think of themselves as humans and not as Americans, Russians, Chinese, etc.
I'm finding issue with you thinking it's a good idea to force people not to identify with their own culture, regardless of where they are.
-
resources should not be in the game, unless you land one of these on the planet, its just excusing you trying to cheat more dv on location.
<snip>
Totally. Those NASA guys? They're just trying to cheat more dv on location.
-
If you had a machine that could teleport you to a random place anywhere in the universe, what is the probability of you landing somewhere where you would:
a). die within a second?
. survive for longer than a day?
-
Again, you are generalizing western cultural traits as if they were inherent to our species. Competition isn't more or less part of human nature as cooperation. It all depends on the context and what there is to gain.
Competition may not hold for all cultures universally, but anywhere war happens there must be some sort of competition. And that occurs pretty much everywhere.
-
People are complaining "omg soo unrealistic some scratches and paint displacing omg!!!!! what about the ppl that died in rocket!!!!" while we have broken aerodynamics, wobbly monstrosities full of struts, asparagus staging and more.
That's a good argument for fixing the aerodynamics, not breaking everything else.

It would be fun to run this on the KSP forums as well, among forum members.
EDIT:
The discovery of the throttle was a major breakthrough because this allowed us to leave the ground. This is quite possibly the most Kerbal thing I have ever read. Ever.
EDIT2:
THEY KEEP ON CALLING KERBIN "EARTH"
PLEASE STOP THIS OP
PLEASE
Just kidding, but it irks me so much. I hope you make another blog post soon, because I want to read more wonderfully Kerbal things such as this.
-
I'm not going to do this challenge, as I'm not about to abandon more than a dozen kerbals on one-way trips.
The probe only needs to stay on the planet for the duration of the challenge. After that, it can return.
-
Okay you do have a point there.
Maybe they're just not extending their tentacles all the way xD
I'll think of a solution.
They are wearing more expensive transparent suits that don't function in space because the radiation messes with their functioning?
-
If you are all really that concerned about being experts, go enroll in a university, get a physics PhD and then you can call yourself an expert. Otherwise don't waste my time trying to compare e-peens over a video game.
As long as you don't waste my time acting like you're superior to all these plebeians who dare to talk about people's skill at a game. Discussing Kerbal Space Program? On the Kerbal Space Program forum? OUTRAGEOUS!
-
WOW 38 pages of this? Come on, time to close this thread.
What would closing this thread achieve, exactly?
Permadeath on, Kerbonaut Memorial Gardens inaugurated.

So you memorialise them in a video game. Anyway, since when did that mean anything about memorialising them?
