  1. I'm sending a large probe ship to the system. I'm planning on landing on all of the moons except Tylo. 118 sounds good. Laythe is going to be the focus of the expedition. I might send a manned lander there next.

  4. Hahahah... Helicopters in vanilla. You should've seen MY designs. They make this look like an Apache.
  5. Alright, so after a great many hours spend playing KSP, I've come up with some pretty weird designs. I was interested what the forums had come up with. There's only one requirement- share an explanation of whatever you post. That's it. My example- "The Pendulum" The bottom tanks and outermost engines drop off, leaving the tail covered in canards. This gives it freaking AWESOME maneuverability in the atmosphere. This particular payload has like 30 probe cores on board which give it lots of torque in orbit too! Here it is circularizing, showing the staging. It's ridiculously stable.
  6. So, late last night, I realized my typical asparagus-style launcher couldn't list my newest payload. Logically, I built a new one. This is what I came up with. It's surprisingly stable, and controls like something half it's size, thanks to the canard "tail". It doesn't use seperatrons or RCS, and is controllable enough to be compatible with mechjeb. It's max payload is probably around 60 tons. At the launchpad Right after takeoff Circularizing. Note the tail tank with the canards.

  8. Performance issues, as far as I can tell, are rare. I certainly haven't experienced them. In addition, I really don't think there are any major, badly game-affecting bugs. It's not really necessary, in my opinion, to make posts like this in the public section. If you're unhappy about something make a bug report. That is all.
  9. 705: When you mix up the fuel tank icons on the staging bar, and decouple your half-full boosters into the rest of your ship. 706: When you turn on warp for that long trip to the Mun, get a drink, come back, and realize that you set the warp a bit too high, and are now orbiting the sun.
