I second this, while you can just put struts from the payload to the fairings they stick through and sometimes placing them is difficult at best.

I agree that the rover should use energy. Also will the deeper kethane pockets contain more kethane? I'm not a geologist or anything but it seems to me that as you get deeper the rock could support larger pockets, large pockets on the surface would simply collapse and release the gas.

Well that works too, forgot about that right click menu. Just as long as i can turn off my kethane engines when they aren't needed i'm happy.

Will we be able to toggle kethane engines like ion ones? I wouldn't want to waste my kethane fuel while maneuvering in orbit.
