  1. Alright, I'm back again. I still have a glut of studying, but I started working on my next project, which is a revival of my old craft. (I already had a prototype... if anyone remembers...) The real challenge is the ballast. It'll work as long as these buggers don't disobey orders.
  2. I'd like to see how my station stacks up to your armaments. Maybe sometime in the future.
  3. New! I succeeded the A-37 Dragonfly with the much better F-16 Falcon. This jet weights only about 5 tons, can go at 160 m/s at sea level with half throttle, is extremely maneuverable, costs only about $22,000, and is easy to fly, especially with the ASAS on. (An edition with my missiles is about to be released at a cost of $38,000. The missiles are AMRAAMS.) Craft download: https://www.dropbox.com/s/d6u6wj5yugo2s09/F-16X.craft It even flies with one wing. I managed to land it.
  4. Don't worry. All we need is to obtain a few nuclear warhead armed minuteman missiles, hire a few South African mercenaries, bribe a few lobbies, buy some surplus military equipment, and clone a few genetic templates to populate our nation.
  5. Or maybe they realize the importance for their checkbooks.
  6. No worries. I'm embarking on a new project as a long term design process. This is due to my now tight schedule. COIN Ops have always fascinated me. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cessna_A-37_Dragonfly I might change my mind. $27,000 of pure affordable versatility. Simple is usually better. It can achieve high speeds with low thrust. Low thrust also allows for extreme maneuverability along with high payload for multi role combat. The Cessna A-37 Dragonfly. It also has STOL and can be operated from small maritime aircraft carriers, including most flat surfaces due to its light weight and extremely high TWR ratio.
  7. Unless you have an account... you'll have to delete the old one and create a new album... sorry. Can you link your company? I can't seem to find it. Good luck.
  8. I'm not mad, but if he copied anything from fallingintoblack... shudders... armageddon.
  9. I have a feeling that he copied it just like the original Soviet Atoll missile. Also known as the sidewinder. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/K-13_(missile)
  10. I know. I actually find it flattering. This whole scenario reeks of De Ja Vu.
  11. I feel honored. you actually... studied... my 6th gen fighter. I mean, really? You called it the F### Yeah? link to my thread: http://forum.kerbalspaceprogram.com/threads/84021-GA-Avenger-Predator-C-and-6-th-generation-F-X-Fighter-Jet
  12. I'm not trying to be insensitive, but I made slight updates to my SA-6 missile launcher. I already had a prototype a few months ago, and I do not support Putin. Missile accelerating. Armored missile transport vehicle.

  14. Don't fall for the fallacy that more phases mean necessarily better overclockability. It also depends on the quality of the vrm phases.
  15. As am I. I believe that we concur. Also, he should tell us what type of motherboard chipset he's using. He should also tell us the cpu heatsink, and if he wants, what thermal compound he plans on using then.
  16. I'd still like to know what cpu he's referring to. A first gen i7 isn't going to cut it.
  17. Can you tell us the sku number of the cpu? Also, nvidia is about to release the maxwell based gtx 880 soon... not a good time to debate buying a high end gpu.
  18. PS: Even though intel delayed most of the broad well line, they're rumored to be releasing the M series broad well chips for ultraportables by the end of this year with the broad well architecture. I suggest holding off for just a little longer for much better cpu and extreme gpu performance increases. Also, I actually use a macbook pro 13 inch retina specced with 8 gb of ram and a 256 gb ssd, the late 2013 model. My desktop is a windows affair, and will remain so until I install ubuntu.
  19. He could also go the hackintosh route, but I'm not sure about his hardware compatibility. It's wise to stick to one OS is you're job depends on your editing timeframe, although I don't make a living off of video editing.
  20. I would recommend Premier Pro. I really like the workflow. Also, using the gtx 760 requires a minor text edit in the config files for the adobe program. It's literally adding the name of our card.
  21. I primarily use the gtx 760's CUDA function to accelerate my video editing in adobe premier pro (with some permission edits in the adobe file) and Sony Vegas Pro. Awesome little monster of a renderer. Also, the gpu suffers quite a bit when running things at 1440p on my asus pb278q. I have also heard all of the good news about the atom's performance, but after owning a samsung nc-10, I can't stand risking another atom powered computer purchase.
  22. Sorry about that. Anyways, I think that Nova made an okay game.
  23. I love the gtx 760! It's just that the acx cooler on mine eats up three slots. Darn Rosewill. The challenger just sucks.
  24. And we need no stinkin' wave drive. When you've got a shield world. I'm set.
  25. Behold... the energy catalyzer! Italian fusion vaporware forever!
