Kerb 35 Kraken (fighter jet replica)

Yes. I'd imagine an anti space weapon could be built, but I think I'll hold off for a while. -
Kerb 35 Kraken (fighter jet replica)

XD It is powerful, but I could outmaneuver those missiles with the F/A-18 Super Hornet. (Maybe not the AIM-9X I equipped it with. Those things are scary.) Also, the Iron dome I built probably is just as effective as the SA-11 or your own guided missile system. (I still have some... surprises. ) So, yeah. Guided missiles from ground launchers would be a nightmare for pretty much any adversary... especially naval vessels, enemy vehicles, and enemy aircraft. I look forward to the day when we black out the sky with SAM's. -
Kerb 35 Kraken (fighter jet replica)

Yea, it has 3. I originally wanted a SA-6, but switched to a SA-11 due to symmetry issues. (Craft name is incorrect. XD) It's easy to control them, it's just that I made these for show. It's my 'Iron Dome' inspired SAM that I use for actual battles. TEL included. Super maneuverable supersonic missiles with fine-controls. It even has a reinforced warhead to kill heavy aircraft, and I've shot down one of the retired FX-II prototypes with it. -

And, I have a more faithful F/A-18 Super hornet. Drop tank and weapons officer included. (Missiles were upgraded to actual AIM-9X specs. I forgot to put in the second pilot in some of the screenshots, but it has a second cockpit along with extremely good low speed handling). I think it could come in handy in ground battles. Once multiplayer gets released, anyone want to dogfight me? :) -

I actually built the super kraken with two cockpits. It has virtually the same flight characteristics of the original FX-II, but a redesigned wing along with 4 missiles (that cost a total of 40k credits) and a drop tank, allowing for long-range strike missions. If I built a carrier, I'm pretty sure it could operate off of it due to it's stol capability. Test flights executed with one pilot after the RIO jumped out mid flight from having too many prune snacks. And, I have a more faithful F/A-18 Super hornet. Drop tank and weapons officer included. Who said anything about me being in two places? I can always invite another friend to be the RIO.
-
That's why I'm adding a second cockpit. My RIO can shoot you down.

Guided missiles, you say... Tungsten dome! I think this'll be my frontline guided missile vehicle.

Guided missiles, you say... Tungsten dome! And, My new F-18 based naval airplane with guided missiles. I hope to take you down in a dogfight when multiplayer is officially released, especially since I armed my fighter with guided missiles. :)

Kerb 35 Kraken (fighter jet replica)
andrew123 replied to lunait's topic in KSP1 The Spacecraft Exchange
Looks like the Kraken name is spreading pretty quickly. I'd like to know how well it performs vs my FX-II Super Cthulhu. (12 G's sustained) -
Anyways, time to (possibly) update this ship. It just won't die! I need to find the will to update it, though.

Count me in. I haven't ditched ksp yet. -
Cut one off, and get three heads for free.

The cake is a lie.

Here it is! The MKII non-armed revision of the Avro Vulcan. Fast, large, stylish, and capable of performing some nice tricks without SAS, this is truly a plane from the Cold War. Just kidding. You wanted violence, didn't you! AIM-9X BLK II is now released. I put it one the Vulcan for air-launch validation. It carries a reinforced warhead and much improved aerodynamics. It should be flown with SAS. Craft Download: https://www.dropbox.com/s/68nxesns1tly92n/Avro%20Vulcan%20MKV%20AIM-9X%20II.craft Destruction of ground targets:

Then your request for my takedown of the post was unwarranted, no? - redacted - I hope you get through whatever is happening.
-
First of all, I stopped posting to VL due to your own request. (Do you see my post on 'your' thread? not at all.) And people constantly post pictures of their craft here. (PS: I removed the post here. Happy?) I just don't want to .... off Spartwo by having moderators delete more posts. I suggest we stop this argument for the sake of Spartwo... .
-
All right. So I'm guilty of 'self-advertising' while others spam pictures of their own crafts. XD Also, I'm supposed to submit one craft every month to the UKSC thread. Also, I removed it since you seemed so annoyed by the post. Is Spartwo not allowed to post his 'old collection' of photos then? I'm just playing around with your logic.

Because I feel like it. XD Comrade Jenkens: You're 4134965 off.
