Holy.... this thing is incredible! I really do love how you managed to slowly introduce the back story, but now here's my constructive criticism. 1. More imagery and sensory details for certain parts of the story, such as of the ship or of the scout ship. 2. More details on how the kerbals salvaged all of the technology from the Horizon wreckage, or how they managed to save the technology. (You may be planning on posting this later, but I'm not really sure. ). Anyway, this story got me convinced it was indeed official. You are officially my favorite KSP storyteller!

Since the icbm was never meant to be released, I only released the warhead part. And yes, that's the FASA and novapunch rockets, although the FASA rocket was uprated to 1300 units of thrust.

I would check out my Yars-24 icbm. I will release it soon, but it's definitely not stock. Another unfortunate thing is that it has a MIRV warhead system, but the explosions are yet to be added.

The mighty RS-24 Yars is one og the Russian Federation's finest road mobile icbms... while technically not road mobile in KSP, I would respect anyonw who could create a truck and TEL for this... This required Novapunch, FASA Gemini pack (with a custom modified Solid Booster Stage), and a custom W10 warhead made by someone long ago... (I'll add the lazor explosion script to it soon). To make it as realistic as possible, the first two stages are solid fueled, while there is a third post boost stage. Staging for the MIRV warheads have not been set up. After a few modifications, I'll post the craft and its associated parts.

You should talk with Pirate... he's making canister based anti aircraft missiles like SEA RAM and Patriot... so his mod could complement your mod. XD.

By the way, are you planning on making any canister based jet powered cruise missiles with solid rocket boosters? I tried with Sceppie's parts, but only the tiberion bearcat engines are stackable... and I even had to modify the engine to be realistic.

You'd have to either make them balloons, or there would have to be some sort of AI for the planes... but it looks like we are getting the successor to Il-2 Sturmovik. .
