Normally nothing, funnily enough. I find I need to concentrate when playing the game, and I sometimes get distracted when listening to something. eg. Okay, aerobrake until 1000m altitude and then- oh, this is a good song, isn't it? Oh wai-KABOOOOM Or something like that.

Ha ha, looks like the bug where during extreme lag the RCS thrust effects go mad. It does look like hyperspace now that you mention it.

I love the idea of being able to launch different modules to other planets, which can then be assembled to make moonbases and so on. Perhaps even then lift them onto rover modules, so you can move your base around the planet for whatever reason. In terms of VABs on other planets, I'm not sure about going that far, but potentially being able to reattach parts to rockets once they are landed on a special landing pad or something would be great, so you can launch a rocket from Kerbin to the Duna base, then launch a service rocket from Kerbin to the Duna base with the parts you want to add to the first rocket. Of course, KSP is still only very early in development so I'm not suggesting this be added in .18 or .19 or anything, I'm just saying I'd like to see KSP go in this direction after all the core elements are finished.

A snow planet would be awesome, especially with big mountains to climb. I don't know how realistic this is, which might mean it isn't implemented. A volcanic planet, with lava oceans, would also be fun. Or is this what Moho is supposed to be like once finished?

How about a 0.18 speculation thread? Or even better, some Mods that don't lose it whenever somebody goes a tiny bit off topic and lock an entire thread for it? Sorry but this is ridiculous, all it takes is one idiot to mention something other than the exact purpose of a topic and it gets locked.

Very similar to my first Mun landings. Funnily enough, I managed Minmus on my first attempt.

My series of rockets all follow a naming pattern beginning with J, followed by the rocket number and a name. For example, my Mun rocket is called the J-11 Armstrong, because it was my eleventh distinct rocket. My new interplanetary rocket is the J-12 Horizon.

Nova did say that Laythe was basically a melted Vall (Europa), so maybe there is some weight to this.
