  1. Granted, NASA recruits you for their hyper-realistic spaceflight training simulator, however, an unfortunate simulated piloting mistake cases a very real hull breach in the cabin. NASA, being very forward thinking, was kind enough to provide a real vacuum outside the cabin for added immersion. I wish for millions of skyscrapers to be built across the entire globe and connected via cables to allow for a near infinite building height as you are essentially building new artificial layers onto the Earth.
  2. Granted... I wish for a shot glass full of dioxygen difluoride.
  3. As I'm sure you know, we need clean water for not only drinking but for many other industries to function. We often use fresh water at a much faster rate than it is being purified through the water cycle, causing the water level of lakes and rivers to decrease. The world's main source of electrical power is coal and other fossil fuels, we extract the energy from these sources by burning them, which heats up water, becomes steam, turns turbines, then generators. Nuclear power plants do the same thing, you can even see the steam coming out of the cooling towers. So what if we were to use seawater in the energy production process, and simply let the steam re-condense into a reservoir, then we would be able to produce electricity and fresh water in one facility. Would this work, or is it unfeasible for some reason?
  4. Granted, you are now driven by a ludicrous dream to conquer Europe, including Russia, in winter. I wish for a quick and easy method to terraform other planets in out solar system.
  5. Granted, your stomach was damaged beyond repair in an [insert adjective] [insert noun] accident and had to be amputated. I wish that my computer had infinite processing speeds.
  6. Granted, however an error in Eeeloo's terrain file corrupts your save. I wish for an electron.
  7. Granted... *Velociraptors* I wish for a mineral-rich, water-covered planet about 1 AU away from a sun that is about 1,300,000 miles in diameter, and also has a moon that has approximately 1/6th the mass of the planet.
  8. Granted, humanity destroys all of their weapons as an act of universal friendship, only for aliens to invade and demand trial by combat. I wish for understanding of all mathematical concepts.
  9. Granted, the poor design of the holster prevents you from drawing the gun against a robber, and the flashy design draws his attention to it, leading to your untimely demise. I wish for the ability to rewrite timelines and jump between them at will.
  10. Granted, but the barge is captured by Somali pirates and the Falcon-9 is sold on the black market. I wish for Sonic '16 to be conceived and released.
  11. Granted, due to an error in converting from the metric to imperial measurements, you only have enough oxygen to last 5 days on Mars. I wish that affordable immortality would be invented already.
  12. You get a crown made of a gold-iron alloy (I'm not a metallurgist), it falls apart quickly due to poor construction. I wish that people would stop stop making wishes which are references to things I have no knowledge of.
  13. Granted, but they only speak in reverse Polish. I wish for Time Warner Cable to increase their maximum bandwidth by installing more cables.
  14. Granted, but you are immediately captured by animal control and dissected by researchers. I wish that every planet in our solar system was habitable.
  15. Granted, a nuclear winter ensures that you won't have to do another science assignment in your life. I wish for the Mona Lisa.
  16. Granted, but they have no equipment or training. I wish for a GTX Titan Z video card.
  17. Balloons float by being less dense than the air that surrounds them. So what if you were to build some sort of rigid balloon that could have all the air sucked out of it to become a vacuum chamber, would it float? If not, would it do anything at all? Part of me feels like this shouldn't work, but I can't figure out why it shouldn't.
  18. I only consider it cheating if it is used for "cheaty" purposes like air-hogging or stacking fuel tanks inside of each other, I mostly use it for aesthetics so that I don't have random shards of metal jutting out of my craft.
  19. I can build you a plane for any job, but I can barely get to the Mun with conventional rockets.
  20. I get around 200 fps with small to medium sized ships, custom built desktops are the way to go for gaming.
  21. The tricky part is not getting them there, but actually creating a self-sufficient ecosystem that could also support extra humans.
  22. The concept of "free will" is a very difficult one indeed. After all, aren't us humans programmed for self-preservation and reproduction? That is the job we were programmed to do by evolution, reproduce, and we even get pleasure from it. So where is the line drawn for our control over AI? If we program them to get pleasure out of doing our wishes, but are otherwise autonomous, are they considered then to posses free will? I just want some opinions on your concepts of free will and whether or not we truly posses such a thing. Cheers!
  23. The Borg assimilate all your technology.
  24. Man, Danny2462 should hire you for extra footage.
